Good, but a few issues

The house was beautiful, and the location is serene. We love staying in this specific area for the ability to ski in and ski out! Last year, my friends and I stayed in another home in this same neighborhood and had a wonderful time.
This year upon arrival we had several issues, the hot tub was not heating up properly, the hottub also had a lot of wierd foam, almost like someone put bubble bath in there (not normal for a hottub). We did have someone come out to service it, and he was great, put it took about 5 to 6 hours for it to heat up again and we could not use it pretty much all day Saturday! The tempature really wouldn't stay hot for very long and we had issues with it all weekend.
The other issue was the firewood. When we rented the place it stated "firewood included". When we arrived our "included firewood" was wet and under several feet of snow. ( I am not sure why one would not put firewood in the garage as it is obviously going to snow at and get wet at a ski resort). Firewood is expensive, and since I was paying $2000 for this weekend, I really didn't want to go buy it, since it was supposed to be included. The people at the rental office were very nice, but the owners told them quote "we have to deal with the wet firewood too, so we will not give you money for dry firewood." Ok.... well I am only paying $2000 for your place....

I let it go...and forked out money for firewood

3rd....No hot water! Went to take a shower Friday night and it was cold. No one could take a shower. Turns out no one had turned the hot water heater on. I did that and problem solved. Not a major issue to do, but it really would have been nice for someone to make sure the Hot Water was ON.
4th...we wanted to grill and when we rented the place it said, "gas grill included". Propane was out! Told us we would have to come get it?! Really...in the snow storm? Ok.so grilling was out too.
All in all had a good time, but I think everyone forgot that we were paying customers

Wonderful visit!

This house was a perfect getaway for 2 families. It has great space and it never felt like the 9 of us were on top of each other. We walked to the ski slopes (got in just before the blizzard), sat in the hottub, cooked in, played games, watched movies, and just relaxed. It was really a wonderful vacation and we'd do it again in a heartbeat!!

Excellent home with great location

The New Orleans theme captures the spirit of this lovely home -- great location, wonderfully equipped kitchen for any gourmet chef, all the entertainment 'gadgets' a large group or family could want. We stayed in summertime, so do not know how appealing the location is next to the ski lift, but thought it might be fun in the winter too. Evertthing was in working order, lots of parking spaces, The white-water and ski center on the top of the mountain is within walking distance, and it's a great location for those who want to get their mornig or evening walk and explore the vistas from the mountain. Temps were wonderfully cool -- a great break from the sweltering heat and humicity of Texas! Go with friends or a family group and enjoy thsi home with room to gather or to have a private space of your own. For those who love New Orleans of old, it brings back memories. For those who missed the New Orleans before the hurricane -- you will get just a taste of how much fun it was! More...

Didn't want to leave

Renting the home was convenient and simple. We had immediate response from he rental agency and they were very accommodating. The house was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had all the amenities of home. The location was ideal for our families. We have several teenagers as well as younger children combined between our families and there was something for everyone within a few miles. I would strongly recommend this home to anyone. The little added touches; Mardi Gras beads, mask's, etc were a great touch. Thank you for a great weekend at "Let The Good Times Roll", we will be back! More...
