Mountain Merlot is Amazing

The house is amazing its huge and very nice. We could literally walk outside and be under the ski lifts. Everyone who helped us including the owners, the people at Long and Foster, and the employees at wisp ski resort were very accommodating and nice. We are definitely going to try to do it again next year!

Mountain Merlot

This was our first skiing experience in Maryland - we usually ski in Pennsylvania. Beautiful area and even though we were snowed-in, we could still enjoy the skiing by walking to the lift. (Location, location, location!!) The house was absolutely gorgeous and well equipped. Plenty of room for everyone.

The complimentary bottle of Mountain Merlot wine and personalized glasses were an added treat.

Right on the slopes!

Wonderful home with all the amenities one could ask for (sauna, hot tub, poker table, pool table) and located right on the slopes just a few hundred yards from the nearest chairlift (which runs almost OVER the house)! Our large group filled the house's capacity, yet we all had plenty of space. Fireplaces made the house even cozier (it was in the single digits while we were there!). Service from L&F was efficient and accommodating. Only weakness I can think of is that pool table is slightly warped and the felt is tattered, but with so much else to, that didn't dampen the experience. Would definitely come back next winter! Away for the game

First the home is beautiful. The location is great would love to see it in the winter. Now the few problems we had were. 1 we there for the WVU Auburn football game and no cable in the house. Who builds a 1.3 mill dollar house and dose not have cable are you kidding me. Then the septic tank went on the outs 5 kids and no bathroom for 3 hrs. Will not go any further about that. And last the overall check in at the office could have been a bit more hospitable. But maybe the ladie there could have been having a real bad day. ps NO CABLE FOR THE WVU GAME UNBELIVEABLE THANK GOD FOR THE BLACK BEAR BAR!!!!!!!!!!! More...

Nice place that could be exceptional.

The setting of this home is great. We enjoyed playing in the front yard. The rooms were nice and big and we enjoyed the sanua and hottub.

I had some issues with only having basic cable to watch on the tv's. No ESPN is a negative for this property. The one sink was leaking from the trap on the 2nd floor.

No ice in the icemaker. These issues are minor and we would stay there again. But this review could have been spectacular with upgrading to a better cable package. More...
