"Wonderful and serene "
We came for a long weekend at 916 Kiowa rd. expecting what the pictures on the website told us. After picking up a nice packet and the keys we arrived at our cabin. The cabin is nicely situated in a pretty street with a snowy white atmosphere. The cabin itself was beautiful with 2 bedrooms, the upper one allows you to wake up to a wonderful view of snowy woods. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and most kitchen ware you can think of and also had a nice assortment of spices. The Hot tub was enjoyable, our only concern was that 1 side had a view to the neighbors and we were hoping...

The Hot tub was enjoyable, our only concern was that 1 side had a view to the neighbors and we were hoping that side will be obscured as well.
We didn't light up the fire place (bring your own firewood) but it looks in working order.
There are quite a few games and books in the cabin which can allow for fun stranded times.
We highly recommend the cabin for a couple or two or a couple with kids.
P.S. The GPS had a hard time pinpointing the place so just look for the 916 sign when you get to the road. More...

Cozy Cottage for 2-4 persons
The location was great. We were close to all of the action but away from traffic so we could enjoy our anniversary together. The hot tub was great and the trees surrounding the back patio were nice in the mornings with a cup of coffee. The living area was cozy and we enjoyed cooking our own dinner and breakfasts. Mountain bike trails were super close in that you could ride your bike from the house and be on them in minutes. Service was excellent and everything went smoothly. Highly recommend staying here! Rustic 1970's Experience With Modern Upgrades
My 2 children and I loved the look, feel and smell of this place. Hot tub and fireplace after a great day of skiing at nearby Sierra was all that we could have asked for on a Spring Break trip. The neighborhood is quiet. Structure and decorations reminded me of childhood trips to winter cabins back in the 1970's. Perfect place for 3-4 people wanting a cozy retreat.

A Great Little Place
My husband and I stayed at this cute little cabin and loved our time there. It is a bit rustic but all the better. We didn't use the hot tub but it looked like it worked. We slept in the upstairs loft rather than the downstairs bedroom. We could hear the coyotes at night and slept well. The view out the great window was beautiful and very peaceful. The kitchen is small, no dishwasher but it had everything we needed. Our son, who was living up there for the winter, came over for dinner a few evenings; we played Scrabble and turned on the CD player and listened to music. An idylic stay and one that we would love to repeat. More...
