Located on the quiet West Shore of Tahoe, this property would be one of our
1st choices to return to again and again!! It's about 30 minutes out of town,
tucked into a cozy little neighborhood setting (kids and dogs abound), but still
quiet and well off the main path. The only obstacle was finding our way
through the winding roads buried under a blanket of snow, but once found we
were really at home!! The property is beautiful, surrounded by pines, well-
equipped, very clean, and features a cozy family space just off the gourmet
kitchen, where we spent most of our time by the fireplace! The only issues
would be its distance to the ski resorts and the possibility of being snowed-in,
deep off the main roads (as we once were with no plow service), but otherwise,
it's a sure go, and was NO problem for us!! We enjoyed every moment here
(especially our snow-day) and would return in a heart-beat!! Well, too late for
us... The word is out, and it's already booked for this winter! Maybe next

My husband and I were very pleased with the house on Fir Drive. The home
was clean, nicely furnished with a kitchen I wish I had in my own home. We
stayed in Tahoma a few years ago, and we enjoyed the bike trails, and the
close proximity to Sugar Pine State Park and Meeks Bay. I was very pleased to
visit Tahoma again, and this time in a lovely home.
I was surprised upon arrival to find the dishwasher full (with clean dishes,) as
well as a clothes dryer full with sheets and towels. This would not stop me
from renting the home in the future. We had a great time, and the house is
gorgeous! More...

My wife and I have stayed at a number of your properties. I must say that we have come to trust your organization and love the properties.

Fir is a wonderful place and a great value. The only suggestion and in less this was changed my wife would not stay there agian. The master bedroom is upstairs and faces the street. There are no curtains. At night it is lit up and you look right into what could be a romantic getaway. Instead at night you turn the lights out and climb into bed hoping noone sees you. In the morning we woke to the sound of a car and looked directly into the eyes of people waiting to make a left turn.

It sounds funny but it really wasnt.
