My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Erwin's Place. The townhouse was clean and comfortable and at ground level, so no exterior stairs, a big plus for us. I think this unit would be great if you had certain expectations. If you were up for a big group to party at the beach and didn't care how cozy the accommodations were, this is your place. Plus, for the good, the place was kept very clean and Forgotten Coast management was efficient. But the place hadn't been updated since the late 1980s or perhaps early 1990s, the beds were ridiculously hard, and the unit had that old motel kinda smell. Plus, while it is great that you can bring your dog, they should also note that you cannot have your dog on the beach and it has been that way at Mexico Beach for years.

The town house was really nice, very clean except for some sand on the floor in the master bedroom. It lookes like someone took their shoes off and the sand was on their shoes. I do feel a little mis lead about the beach though, I didn't realize that there were 2 condo complexes running parralel with the beach that blocked the view of the water and the pier being closed, I know that you didn't have any control over the pier but you could have told me it was closing and referred me to another rental so I won't rent along there again. I guess that I am used to being right on the water where I can sit on the porch and watch the beach. Thanks you Chuck Weber, it was a good visit. More...
