Enjoy waking up to the crashing ocean and a cup of world famous Kona Coffee! The Kona Alii is located right in the heart of Kailua Kona. Walk to your favorite shops or dining area. Huggos, Lava Java, Oceans Grill and more just a stones throw away!This 2 bedroom was large 1 bedroom and was converted into a 2 bedroom. Area that was given up to accomodate this change is the living room. Ocean Views from the bedroom as the walls are made up of slider doors. Enjoy also one of the largest pools in Kona at this community. Tennis and basket ball close by as well.Internet is located at the Lava Java next door.Here is a tour:

Fairly outdated, but great location.
Our stay in condo was great. We only mention the following because we know "otherwise you would never know..." Maintenance issues were: icemaker did not work, and no ice trays available. The sliding door to the lanai is extremely difficult to open (needs to be oiled), TV reception became very fuzzy mid way into stay, curtains in 2nd bedroom (in living room) do not close all the way horizontal to lanai, electrical outlet behind bed in 2nd bedroom left receptacle inop. Otherwise I will probably stay in this property again, but probably not this particular outdated unit.

Kona
the toaster does not stay down, so I had to hold it down. Also, the furniture was in the middle of the room when I arrived, because they had just installed new carpet. Not a problem, but just not sure I put everything where it was, I put the loose items in the closet, etc. The sink in the guest bathrooom does not drain, I remember that same issue with it in May, some draino might be in order. thanks again for a great stay. when we left the guy who was installing the new blinds was on site.
