Vacation Rental Description
This newer home offers a panoramic view of the Cascades and overlooks the Deschutes River. The Old Mill Shopping Center is two blocks away to offer numerous restaurants, a 16 screen theater, boutiques and more for your shopping. Quick access to Century Drive to Mt. Bachelor has you skiing in less the one half hour OR golfing at more then the several courses only two miles from you. This home offers a gourmet kitchen, fireplace and a big screen TV. Wifi is available as well. The master bedroom is on the ground floor with it's complete bathroom and patio. Upstairs you'll find two bedrooms that have two queens beds in each and a bathroom that has a soaking tub. Balconies invite you to gaze at the wonderful view. A gas barbecue is supplied for summer barbecues. Location, location and a special home, it's quite the package.

| There was one problem. In the garage there were two large garbage containers on wheels. One was overflowing, and the other was 3/4 full of garbage. The smell and the flies were really bad. I moved the garbage containers outside, and left the garage door open to air out the garage and get rid of the flies. I don't understand why these garbage containers were left in a hot garage for so long. |

| The place was great, and we loved the location for the Les Scwab Amp. We kind of wished a stereo came with the place, but otherwise it was awseome! |

| The only bad thing I can say is that the dishwasher isn't installed correctly and falls out of its hole when loading it. Otherwise a wonderful stay and love the mall right down the hill and through the roundabout. The neighbor I met was really sweet. So were the pooches from the other side. |

| The property manager was helpful but became very defensive when asked questions. Our power went out for a few hours. She did call and let give us an update. When I expressed my feelings (our son was getting married that afternoon and we had six people to get ready) instead of being sympathetic, she got very defensive and went on about how it wasn't her fault and there was nothing she could do about it . I did realize it wasn't her fault and I wasn't blaming her in any way. We had relatives renting from Bend Rentals also, and they expressed the same thing. She got very defensive when they shared some problems with her. She seems to take things personally. Other than that she set everything up well and we totally LOVED our house. We didn't have enough toilet paper and there was so soap or dish soap--but that wasn't that big of a deal to me. Thank you |
