I made my rental agreement directly with the owner. Barefeet Rental did the contract. The people at Barefeet Rental were extremely helpfull and professional, however I was not pleased with the property, which was not their fault.

we were disappointed in the beach area. The grills were rusted out and the beach smelled. Also, the outside furniture might need to be tossed due to age--we had one person who broke a chair by just stitting. Otherwise we loved it and it was a very convient location and I felt safe with my kids.

Great place to stay, very close to dive shops
We stayed in Unit 408 Kawama Towers for six days in August 2009. Unit 408 is in the newer tower(5 stories)Unit was very clean,OK view of the ocean and plenty of room for 4 adults(my sons are 23 and 18). Pool for the towers is larger but very warm (85 degrees or warmer). The saltwater lagoon is a little dirty but fine for swimming. Very secure site. Guard 24/7 at entrance. Key required for elevator, pool and Tennis courts. We would definatley stay here again if we are in Key Largo

I only have two complaints...the sofa bed was terrible...mattress was very uncomfortable and it was falling apart. The unit did not have a DVD player (only VCR). Most video rental stores only rent DVDs...VCRs are very outdated. Other than that, the place was great! Loved the lagoon and pool and the location was very convenient.
