Base Camp One - Fantastic Experience
Fantastic experience. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for low stress beginner to intermediate ski experience. Perfect for families.
Walking out the door of the condo to the base of the chair lift has ruined me for all future off-site vacations. The parking garage under the building, the real grocery store just down the hill, and the full kitchen in the unit took loads of stress off of this family vacation.
The ski school was well organized. The instructors were great with the kids. The tube hill was fun for all, day or night.
If you are a strong intermediate to advanced skier looking to be challenged with serious drop or terrain then this is probably not the place for you. If you are a beginner to intermediate skier, or have kids and want to build their skills in a controlled environment, this is the place. Will definately be back next year! More...

Nice Time, but pricey
We enjoyed our one nignt stay at Base Camp One. The location was fabulous and the room clean. Underground, heated parking, ski-in/ski-out accessibility, and the common room was great. I was disappointed that the room did not have a DVD player. I would think for the price we paid the room would be stocked with a DVD player.

Great Family Experience
The ski in ski out was perfect for a family with young kids. The kitchen was well equipped. It might be a bit cramped for a family of 4 planning an extended stay, but for a long weekend it worked well. More...

Great location, great condo!
A beautiful building in a great setting. What could be more convenient then to walk out of your building door and be steps away from the ski slope? Absolutely nothing! The condo was beautifully decorated with a full kitchen, wood floors, washer & dryer, and a gas fireplace. The Hearth Room was fully stocked with games for children of all ages, an incredible variety of books, Wi-Fi access, a beautiful gas fireplace along with convenient ski lockers. A delicious dinner is steps away at the Seven Trails Grille. The only amenities that I missed were Wi-Fi in the condo, a king sized bed in the master and a hot tub; however, these deficiencies were minimal compared to everything this condo had. I definitely recommend this condo and we will rent here the next time we ski Sol Vista.
