We had a wonderful two night stay in the Grassmarket apartment and will definitely recommend it to friends in the future. The castle & the Royal Mile were all within a 10 minute walk.
A pity about the weather, but then again who goes to Scotland for the weather :)

We found the location and security of this flat to be exceptional, the welcome on arrival from Katie was above and beyond what either we had hoped for or we had experienced before having rented appartments from Norway to Ireland. There were fresh flowers, tea, milk, coffee butter, quality bread, fresh fruit and cupboards full of cooking accessories etc - a real home from home. It allowed us to arrive and relax.
We relly enjoyed our stay and will be going again as soon as the opportunity allows. The flat was compact but well furnished, comfortable and ideal for a short break in Edinburgh.
Sitting just below the Castle we could imagine hearing every note of the Tatoo and seeing the fireworks and we are considering staying for just that reason.
A really special weekend was had. Thankyou |

| We were looking for somewhere for my brother and his family to spend some time in Edinburgh after a family wedding. The Gloucester Lane flat was ideal, lovely accommodation with full facilities, very welcoming, all within walking distance of most of the tourist sites in Edinburgh. And Katie could not have been more helpful, a lovely welcome where she spent some time pointing out how to access the tourist areas from the flat. Only snag was using the futon because 5 arrived not four but that was not your fault. The restaurants and pubs around the Stockbridge area were excellent. |
