| My husband and I plus our 2 kids stayed in the Starfish cottage and had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and very charming. The beach was right across the street and when that became too hot we would sit by the tropically landscaped pool to cool off. There was a free trolley just steps away that would take us all over the island and the famous Mr. Bones at the end of the street. A very relaxing vacation for us all. |

My family of four spent a week at Starfish Cottage #2 this past June. We've been traveling throughout Florida for years, but always staying with relatives, or at resorts or hotels. This is the first time we tried a rental vacation home, and I'll have a hard time going back to hotels!
For a family of four (with young kids sharing a bed), it was perfect. The beach is a 3 minute, around the corner walk. The complex has an absolutely stunningly landscaped small pool perfect for early morning swims, or for cooling off when returing from the beach.
My only complaints: no internet connection, which should be as standard as cable tv nowadays, and a larger grill. Irksome, but didn't interfer with our enjoyment of the property overall.
In short... I wish I could've stayed a lot longer! And will be looking to rent this again on our next trip to AMI. |
