As we parked next to Black Bart house, all I could
say was 'wow!'. You can tell right from the
entrance that this place is special. Once inside
the main house, we found a spacious dining space,
next to a professionally equipped kitchen where, as
our host demonstrated, one could comfortably
prepare dinner for 20 people. The lower level hosts
a game room, featuring the largest tv I've ever
seen, and opens up to a jacuzzi terrace where one
can relax in privacy. If the main house is not
enough, the guest house next door can accommodate
more people in a cozier setting. Location is great
too. 5 mins drive from Heavenly ski resort, 10 mins
drive from casinos in South Lake Tahoe. On top of
everything, Charles, the owner, was very welcoming
and made sure nothing was missing for a fun
weekend.

Overall, the house says 'luxury!'. Would definitely
like to go there again.

Spent the last weekend up in Charles' house. Had a great time and the house was really cool. Awesome group of people and lots of activity in the house. Mmmmmm loved the cold beer in the hot tub. Also, the place is very close to the ski resort and not much of a drive at all. Have fun!

I went for a weekend of skiing and hanging out with friends and this house is perfect for that! Heavenly is less than a 5 min drive away. The house is in great shape and the kitchen and dining room is perfect for cooking and having dinner together and although the casinos are close by, there is no need to leave this house, which has all the amenities incl. Hot tub, Pool table, fuss-ball, table tennis and a huge TV! - I will definitely be back! More...

We stayed at this rental house for a weekend in January. It has a lot to offer with its spacious interior as well as its proximity to the ski area and the Village. The kitchen-and-dinning area is ideal for large parties and there is a separate huge area for entertainment equipped for playing pool, fussball and pingpong. The house also has an outdoor jacuzzi that we loved soaking in, and looking at the nice view, after a day on the snow.
