In the most suggestive corner of the cortonesian mountains, at an altitude of 550 metres on the slopes of Mount Sant' Egidio, lies Villa I Cappuccini. Its name derives from the old close by Franciscan monastery, a confined destination for a pleasant visit, a place rich in fascination thanks to its position, tranquillity and mystic atmosphere. Villa Cappuccini is a recently restored old stone farmhouse built on 2 floors internally connected and each with an external independent entrance. Ground floor: entrance, living room – kitchen, a corridor, which leads to the sleeping area. The sleeping area has a double room, a twin bed room (with the possibility to put together the 2 beds), and a charming bathroom with shower in shades of lavender, for common use of the 2 bedrooms. Both rooms have an independent access from out...side. From the ground floor, through an internal staircase, one has access to the first floor. Also an exterior stone staircase with Loggia leads up to the first floor. First floor: spacious living room with a beautiful dining area, a large sand stone fireplace for your moments of relax enveloped in a romantic atmosphere. You will have the chance to relax in comfortable sofas in front of the fireplace, the big plasma TV, listening to music or tasting a bottle of red wine which you will find waiting for you on your arrival. The living room leads into the kitchen, which is fully furnished with 4 burners, an oven, a fridge, a dishwasher and a freezer. The sleeping area has a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. A wooden staircase leads up to the second floor where there is a bedroom with 2 single beds. Outside there is a spacious fully equipped dining area where you can even use the original wood burning pizza and bread oven for cooking your meals. A part of the garden, which surrounds the property, is dedicated to a relaxation area with a private swimming pool and a gazebo furnished with deckchairs and table. From the Villa you will enjoy a breathtaking view of Cortona and the valley below as well as the stunning Tuscan sunsets.
