This unit was perfectly "cute" for a vacation rental, but unbelieveably noisy - could hear every sound made in the neighboring unit and that included some you don't want me to elaborate on, coming from the bedroom...had also been told the road was "quiet" but it was like a freeway, busy with constant traffic. It was really more that Holmes Beach is just SO conjested/crowded than the Palm Isle resort itself. Very cute accomodations, but just too noisy a place from the neighbors to the whole surroundings. Units sit right behind a strip mall with very load garbage truck pickups in the early morning hours, etc...just not the relaxing environment we had hoped for having just come from the serenity of Boca Grande, FL.

We have fallen in love with Anna Maria Island and can hardly wait to return. Island Real Estate was very helpful, and our reservations and other services were dealt with in a very professional manner. The condo was beautiful, the decor very tasteful and the patios off both the dining room and bedroom were great. The only thing missing from the amenities was a casserole dish. So you know that if that's all I have to complain about, everything else was wonderful. The condo was right across the street from the beach and only a short distance from the grocery store and a drug store. We rented the condo for only one week, but once we were there, we decided to stay an additional week. The condo at Palm Isle was not available for the second week, however Island Real Estate found us another condo less that a block away which was also very well equipped. The location and site are ideal for a peaceful holiday. The beach can be seen from the apartment and essential shops are within walking distance. Unfortunately the partition wall with the adjoining apartment is insubstantial and noises are transmitted all too easily. More...

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY VERY MUCH, VERY CLOSE TO BEACH, VERY CLEAN, RENTAL PEOPLE VERY NICE AND ATTENTIVE TO OUR EVERY NEED. LOCATION WAS CONVENIENT TO ALL THE PLACES WE NEEDED TO SEE. LOTS OF PLACES TO EAT IN THE AREA. TRAFFIC WAS NOT A PROBLEM AT ALL. More...
