My family stayed there for July 4, 2009 for a few days and we thoroughly enjoyed the home and the views. My 9 year old son couldn't stay out of the pool and the beach, while mom and dad relaxed on the balcony in the morning, by the pool during the day, or again on the balcony at night.
We explored the restaurants, and found many kid friendly places, while avoiding the Destin crowds, but we were able to find a lot of places of interest to come back and visit.
All in all it was a great time and a beautiful home to enjoy it.

We have stayed at Summerwind several times and have always been very pleased with the accomodations. 702C is a very nice condo but had a few areas were condo maintenance was slipping. Three of the four chairs on the patio were torn so badly you couldn't sit in them. The coffee table had a section of rodiron that hung on the floor. It appeared to only need a screw to put it to rights again. The dishwasher got into a "loop" one day and ran for over two hours. On the bright side, the Navarre Properties staff were top notch as always. They allowed me to use a discount at the last minute. This type of goodwill keeps us coming back. Also, I had specifically inquired at reservation time if the room had a blender only to find that it didn't work when we got there. One call to Navarre Properties staff got me a new one on our doorstep within a couple of hours. Superior customer service. More...

We stayed here the end of July with my husband, 3 young boys and teenage niece. The bunkroom was great for the boys, they had their own TV, which was all that mattered to them. The walkin closet was huge in the master, and actually fit the pack n play. With the door left open for air circulation, it worked great for the baby, as it cut down on the noise and light distraction. The view was amazing. Minimal wait time on the elevators. Pools were clean and not overcrowded. Overally, we had a great vacation at Navarre Beach. I have already recommended it to people who are looking for a vacation in the Destin area.
