Great Winter Escape to Paradise |

We had a wonderful week here. We found everything we needed. The place is right on a very quiet stretch of Gulf beachfront. Easy walk to nearby restaurant on the beach, ot to the island trolley line.
BTW - the property is in the city of Anna Maria, not Holmes Beach, as stated above. The rental office is in Holmes Beach. |

| I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely and charming cottage. This property is directly on the water with a short 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach. Decorated in breezy beach cottage style, it is comfortable and peaceful. It boast tropical gardens and paths along with a delicious and private out door shower. It is surrounded by coconut trees, so watch for falling coconuts when walking to the beach. It was a slice of paradise. |

Anna Maria is an island paradise beyond compare for those wishing true Floridian island relaxation! This cottage is on the quiet north end of the island- a nice residential area near some of the best limited access beaches in Florida. We were never bothered with touristy noise or fuss, and literally swam with dolphins and manatees while we were staying here! ( NO kidding!!!) Though the cottage is older- it smacks of "retro-beach-chic" and has a fresh feel to its decor and amenities. We LOVED staying here, and the rental agency was extremely helpful in meeting any needs that we had.
It has a HUGE backyard with direct access to some of the nicest white sand beaches in the country... and affords quiet privacy to a honeymooning couple or a small family. We hope to come back again and again. |

We were so happy here! The house was lovely, comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need, and more. The yard was beautiful and peaceful, and we spent much of our non-beach time on the screened in porch enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of Anna Maria Island (the flower aromas were wonderful!).
The only thing we would have changed was the distance we had to walk to the beach. Through the very large backyard, and then around an endangered species area on the beach -- with a 2 year old, it felt like quite a haul somedays.
However, we would recommend this property without hesitation. The owners genuninely seem to have considered everything possible to make their guests comfortable.
