we had a wonderful time at good day sunshine..the house was well stocked and had a few extras, like the cart to take your stuff to the beach!!
The only hitch that I can think of is the airconditioning was lacking in the downstairs room. We had 6 "adult kids" sleeping in that bunk room and it was too warm down there. Wonderful pool table for the "kids". Would much rather be on the beach, but for the price, this place was great!

This was our first time to rent in the OBX and we chose Duck for the beautiful scenery. We had an adult family reunion and the house fit us to a tee. Beach access was just a short walk away and we used the pool and hot tub every day. Each bedroom having its' own bathroom and private access to the deck was very convenient. The great room lent itself to a large group for games, etc. The large (well-stocked)kitchen and two dishwashers made it easy to feed our large group of 12. Loved staying in Duck and would recommend renting bikes to get around on all the great bike trails. The two lane road gets quite backed up especially on check in/out days. We had a few mechanical issues with the hot tub and downstairs fridge but they sent out repair people right away and it didn't impact our vacation at all. We didn't have any children with us on this trip, but the house is equipped with everything you might need to accomodate them. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to others. This house has it all! Plenty of room! Games for the kids! A pool and a jacuzzi! Every room has its own bathroom! There's even a pool table in the rec room with another fridge so you don't have to keep going upstairs for refreshments! A block and a half off the beach, nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac. We couldn't have asked for a better house! We had a blast on our vacation!

The only downside is it's about 1 1/2 miles from the shops and restaurants in town, so you'll have to drive. Not a big deal unless there's traffic--then you will sit for a LONG time because there's only one road in and out of town! More...

Good Day Sunshine had everything we wanted. We were very happy with our stay, the Outer Banks Blue staff was helpful and supportive every step of the way. With the house in order and we were able to enjoy each other's company for the ever so brief week that we had. Definitely would use Outer Banks Blue again and would recommend this house to anyone.
