This is by far the best of three places we have stayed in three visits to Anna Maria Island. Location is outstanding! The Gulf is literally 30 seconds away; view of beach activities is wonderful; only a 3-block walk to island's major shopping center (food market, drug & other stores, restuarants, etc.)
The cottage itself is simple, but clean and well-provided with necessities and amenities inside and out. It is a truly fine base for enjoying the beach, the island and the area.
Ultimate compliment: we have reserved it for a multi-month stay next year! |

I loved this little yellow house! I have been going to Anna Maria
since I was a kid, now my husband and I take our kids every
year. This is the best place for a small family and the best
feature is that the water is just steps from the porch. The only
thing that would make this property better is if it had a pool,
little ones sometimes need a change! |

My husband and I found this island on-line. I took one look at the picture of the house and the view and I knew this was where we were going for our vacation. He was a little skeptical about the pictures(many of us are), but when we pulled up to the house it was everything that I had imagined! It was DIRECTLY on the beach! My kind of vacation. The beach was beautiful and not crowded at all. The water was crystal clear and a gorgeous green/blue color. The island itself is not over commercialized, which makes for an even more relaxing environment. For a couple or family with 1-2 children this house would be absolutelty perfect. We have already started making plans to go back and bring our whole family with us(they will have to get their own houses we get this one!). Thanks Again!

| You can't get much closer to the beach than this wonderful 2 bedroom home. Open up the sliding glass door, walk out onto the deck, and enjoy the sand and surf. Watch the sun set over the Gulf right from the living room. The house was clean and up to date, with a full fridg and freezer, stove and oven, microwave, toaster, and even a dishwasher. A special plus was the washer and dryer available to use in the neighboring house. The house's windows and slider were boarded up during the threat of a tropical storm, but we still enjoyed this wonderful location. |

We were looking for a quiet beach vacation. We got that with this house. During the week it was very quiet, at night it was even quieter. The house is on a side street with public access to the beach so on the weekend there was a little more traffic. But all in all this is a very quiet area. We did however feel the kitchen was lacking in some basics, no blender, no trash bags, no coffee filters. No extra toilet tissue either. So make sure you bring your own supplies. No need to bring beach towels though as they have plenty in the closet. Although when the weather is good you do not spend much time inside we did find the couch and only chair in the livingroom to be uncomfortable.
The best thing about this house is most definitely the location and the patio on the beach. If you enjoy quiet and beautiful beach sunsets you will enjoy this house! |

| The view was excellent, location great. The house was clean and neat, but the beds were very old and uncomfortable. The linens and pillows very old and worn. The sliding glass door would not close full of sand that needed vaccumed out. |
