We loved the unit especially the great view of the ocean. The unit was clean and the lenen service was a nice touch. We did not cook during our stay this time but we usually do. The kithcen appeared to be set up for that had we decided to use the appliances and cookware. We are looking forward to staying at Colony By The Sea again later this year. When our daughter gets out of school in the spring.

This condo was perfect for my needs. I took a workation to write my book. I knew I'd be on the computer, but with the balcony ON the beach, I could see or hear it anytime. Having unlimited free wireless internet was important for me. I'd do some work on the beach then come inside and do some work in the condo, relaxing all the while.

It did rain almost every day while I was there, but every day there was plenty of sun and fun until late afternoon. The cool ocean breeze was wonderful as it was extremely humid in July.

The condo was very comfortable and it was nice to have appliances and some boogie boards left there. Unfortunately the beach umbrellas and chairs were all broken. Also, the A/C was slightly inadequate and no cleaning supplies or paper products were allowed to be left by previous renters. I spent an extra hundred dollars on cleaning supplies, paper products, a new beach umbrella, chair, and fan --- all of which I left behind, not sure if they'd actually be left for future renters or removed by the cleaners.

The realty company was very nice, had a streamlined and efficient check in and out process. The office was surprisingly far from this condo --- almost an extra half hour -- so I was wondering if I'd missed it. There's a big sign, so keep going!

The condos had an elevator, loading area, and luggage carts so I didn't have to lug my baggage up the stairs. I didn't use the heated pool.

Ocean water was warm. Some rough waves and riptides due to storm. No lifeguards. Beach wasn't crowded. Felt like I had my own space. No blaring radios or obnoxious loud people. Nice families, everyone friendly, even young adults. No bikini babes with drunken beach parties.

There were a few good restaurants nearby but most of the good ones and affordable stores were about 20 minutes away. Stop on your way into town.

I could have easily stayed there for 2 weeks or a month and do hope to go back to finish my book as I get nothing done at my office. Hope to come back More...

My husband and I had the chance to get away (just
the 2 of us) for our anniversary! We had a
wonderfully relaxing time at The Colony By The Sea.
The condo was just perfect for the 2 of us and we
were right on the ocean. We sat out on the balcony
and watched and listened to the waves to our hearts
content.

The amenities were perfect (washer/dryer,
dishes/pots/pans...) They also have a pool on the
grounds and apart from groceries, we didn't have to
leave there for anything. We were VERY PLEASED with

I realy enjoyed this property and it was fully furnished as noted when I booked the reservation. i stayed for two weeks in this unit and enjoyed and relaxed by the sea. I am originally from this area so this brought back many memories for me as when I was child we would stay st the beach in the summer. I thoroughly enjoyed this property and would recommend it to anyone looking for peace and quite and some down time from the hustle and bustle of your busy life style.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful week in Indian Beach. The location of the condo was so convenient to Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach as well as a quick trip to Morehead City and Beufort.
The condo was clean and comfortable. It had a nice view of the ocean from our balcony and a quick walk to the beach. We would return and recommend this condo to friends and family. More...
