Dirty,Roaches,Smelly,Carpet was discusting,Furniture dirty and w
The place wasn't clean.The furniture was smelly, dirt
and worn. I had to put sheets on the sofa before I
could sit on it. I had to buy roach spray and spray
the whole place. Wall paper is coming off the walls.
The carpet was so dirty i wouldn't walk on it bare
footed. Pieces of food and snacks were between the
cushions on the sofa. I had to scrub the tub before i
would shower in them. I stayed there 3yrs. ago and it
wasn't like it is now. I would not rent it again.

We are so sorry that you did not find the condo to be clean. Even at the end of a long rental season, no one should have to put sheets on the sofas in order to sit on them. A quick call to our housekeeping department on the day that you arrived or the next day and we would have steamed cleaned the carpets and the furniture for you! We want to make everyone happy on vacation, just let us know what is making you unhappy. We have licensed exterminators who work for our company. We would have been happy to have had the condo sprayed for you. We would prefer our guests let us handle the bugs and you enjoy your vacation! I don't see any work orders in our system that you called in and made us aware of any issues while you were here. Even when you added on 5 extra days to your stay once you were here, nothing was reported to the reservationist of your unhappiness. Please, in the future let us know what is bothering you so that we are given the opportunity to fix it.
Since your stay the furniture and carpet have been cleaned!

Not as Promised
The condo was nice but where I take issue was the limited ocean views do to the dunes. Also, if people were sleeping in the master bedroom you could not use the screened in area. The lights from the Clammdigger illuminated the beach at night and spoiled the star viewing.

I'm so sorry that you didn't have the view you expected. We have some photos posted on our website to give you an idea of what your view is going to be. Vegetation does grow quickly here on our island. We did not know that the Clammdigger lights compromised the viewing of the stars from this condo, thank you for that great piece of information!
Luxury & Location
This was our eighth trip to the North Carolina barrier islands, but our first time to the Bogue Banks. We loved the quieter, less commercial area and will definitely return to this island.
Everything we needed for food and entertainment was close by. The historic fort and the aquarium were very interesting.
Wave runner rental was close by. The actual living quarters were splendid. Luxury & comfort was the theme for our week there.
Beautiful view...wonderful beach and all from our rental property.
V-E-R-Y Relaxing and peaceful.
The restaurants ALL amazing.

Cozy and very (young) kid friendly
Condo was very well supplied, and even had accessories for young children. Clean, quiet & nicely decorated, very welcoming/comfortable. Great view & crossbreeze from windows. Only downsides were pool was very cold (even in Aug - very shaded) and no direct access to beach (had to walk down steps & under building, then back up walkway to get to beach). More...
