From the first email contact until the reservation was completed, the owner was great! She answered all of my questions. The cabin itself was secluded and peaceful! The drive up to the cabin was an adventure and was exactly like she the owner portrayed it. It is not meant for sports cars! That being said, my son was able to make it up the mountain in his small sporty car without too much difficulty. Would not try it in snow or after lots of rain, however. We loved the privacy since we had 6 small dogs with us that can be a little yappy at times. It is very secluded, so plan on extra time just to get to the main highway if you are going off for day trips. The cabin itself is very homey and comfortable. Lots of room, great library of books, movies and music. Plenty of extras are left for you to use in case you may have forgotten items. It truly feels like you have walked into someone's home--not just a hotel type feeling. The hot tub was the icing on the cake for us. We came back to Florida completely relaxed and longing for another trip to Wolf Branch Cabin!! More...

The apple Blossom cottage is one we have returned to several times. The location couldn't be better, just minutes from Skyline Drive and Mt. Pisgah as well as asheville and the Smoky Mountains. The cottage itself is really nice with great amenities, comfort, and situated in a beuatiful place with plenty of privacy (so much better than a "cottage compound"). Tammy and Rosie are really great and the cost is so reasonable I think they are ripping themselves off (no need to change that by the way Tammy). Wolf Branch Creek is the perfect place for a private get a way. It is truly a jewel hidden in the mountains. Best of all, you can take the furry members of your family with you. Our two Maine Coon cats were content in the spacious sunroom, looking at everything through the large windows. The rustic, yet modern structure was spacious,comfortable & pleasingly decorated. You could view the Wolf Creek from the upper deck. There also was an awesome hot tub, that was most enjoyable. We have already made reservations for next year. We would highly recommend this cabin to any one who is seeking a private mountain resort, and would like to carry their animals with them. Tammy, the manager is great to work with. More...
