| Very nicely furnished--granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, televisions in each bedroom. Huge balcony with great view of gulf. The master bedroom was nice, but the guest bedrooms were a bit cramped. Enjoyed our stay here, would rent this unit again. |

| THIS WAS THE NICEST CONDO I HAVE EVER VISITED. IT WAS PROFESSIONALLY DECORATED AND VERY CLEAN.THE BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE AND WE HAD PLENTY OF ROOM. IT IS DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH WHICH IS PERFECT FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN.THE ZERO ENTRY POOL WAS GREAT ESP FOR SMALL CHILDREN AND THERE WAS ANOTHER POOL THAT OLDER CHILDREN AND ADULTS COULD ENJOY AS WELL. THE ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT THERE ARE NO BBQ PITS THERE SO YOU CANNOT GRILL ANYTHING ON THAT PROPERTY UNLESS YOU BRING YOUR OWN. OTHER THAN THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS UNIT TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO SPEND THEIR VACATION IN A WONDERFUL CONDO! |

We had a great time. The condo was clean and very spacious. We loved how it was right on the ocean yet had two pools if you got tired of dealing with sand.
The only negative thing is that they have employes that have keys to the condos and they didn't set up a time to come and change the air conditioner filter they just showed up.
They knocked first but I just got out of the shower so I didn't hear and then out I came in a towel. Maybe something could be done about setting up a time to do that. |

| Overall our experience with Youngs Suncoast Rental has always been very good. From check-in to departure. Very fast at check-in so you are in and out ready to start your vacation. We did have to call about the disposal and someone was there in no time to check it out and fix it. We always enjoy going through Young's Suncoast for our rentals. |

| This room offered plenty of space to spread out. Wonderful view of the 4th of July fireworks. Well furnished kitchen. Would not recommend planning to sleep on sofa bed more than one night. The matress was very thin and uncomfortable. Room is on the end of the building so very convenient to send trash down the garbage shoot. Enviting decor and relaxing atmosphere. I would have loved to have seen pictures or a book (something personal) in the room of the owners. I think that it makes it feel special to have shared a place where you know others relax and spend their time. It makes the stay more personal. This condo is on the Orange beach side of Hwy 59 with quick access to Walmart via the "back way" through the state park. Since traffic is horrible this time of year we really appreciated being able to get around the bulk of it. Plenty of parking is available at this particular condo. Others have much smaller and limited places to park, however in renting a 3 bedroom I think that for the amount of money that you pay you should get 3 parking passes not just 2. Overall I would highly recommend the Lighthouse and room 1218 to others as a vacation get away. |

This was our 2nd summer to stay at the Lighthouse. We always come with several family members and friends. The Lighthouse is large enough for all to find a condo unit that fits their family and tastes.
Last year the pool was always too crowded with kids to enjoy, but we enjoy the beach as our main past-time anyway.
We appreciate the privilege of either renting chairs or just setting up our own little circle and tent on the beach.

| We vacation every year in Gulf Shore and as usual we had a great time! This year was very special too us, because my daughter was married on the beach. We have stayed at many nice condos through-out the years, but the Light House by far was the best!. The condo # 1218, was absolutely gorgeous. The pictures that were taken of my daughter and her husband off the balcony and in the condo were beautiful. I would highly recommend this condo too everyone..I am already looking forward to my next stay! |

| Our family had a great time. We did call for extra towels which we never received. I feel 9 full size towels for 8 people was just not enough. I don't mind washing towels, but this was not we are used to with the rentals we have had. The unit was lovely. The disappointment we had was the pantry was locked. So we had no where to store all our snacks and paper plates and cups. For a person who likes order this was frustrating. We had stayed in another 3 bedroom last year at the Lighthouse, and we had an unlocked pantry. This codo was very clean when we arrived. |

We have been vacationing in Gulf Shores for the past 20 years. This 3 year old condo looks brand new. So many parts of GS also look new. I was happy to see the outside looking so non-weathered. I know the ocean air makes it difficult to maintain. The condo was fabulous and super clean. Each room was decorated so cool. The private master bedroom and huge bath was really great. The beds were like home. The large balcony was super. It wraps around the building allowing us to see many areas of GS from the 12th floor. It was a very windy and stormy week in GS. Being on the outer corner of the complex made the wind that much noisier. We really did not get to enjoy the balcony like I had hoped. We usually have 70's and live on the balcony. This year we could not stay on it long because of the wind and cooler air. If the weather would have been warmer and the wind less, we would have lived, ate and laid out on the balcony. It is that great and roomy. I would have been nervous with little kids and so many ways to access the balcony. Three rooms opened onto the balcony. It sure was a beautiful view everywhere you walked inside the condo. Floor to ceiling windows along the entire back side! The best condo we have ever stayed in.

Rented a condo at The Lighthouse for 4 nights over Thanksgiving weekend. Check in and checkout was very easy and the people were friendly and professional. There were plenty of carts to bring up our luggage with and the elevators were very fast (which was great as we were on the 12th floor). Found the condo to be roomy & clean with a great view of the beach and Gulf of Mexico. Accomodations were excellent with comfortable beds, living room furniture, etc.. Plenty of patio furniture on the balcony also.
Had everything we needed in the kitchen except for blenders. There were 2 there that did not work. Only other problem was the dishwasher did not always work. Maintenence took care of the problem quickly and told us why it happened and how to get it working if it should happen again (which it did). It was a simple fix, but something more permanent needs to be done to it, or it needs to be replaced.
Other than those issues it was a great place and we had a great time. We would definitely stay there again as well as recommend it to anyone else interested in staying there. |

We rented this unit for a family reunion. There were six of us total sharing the unit and there was more than enough room. The balcony was beautiful -- gorgeous views!
The unit was extremely comfortable and well kept. Our only issue was that we couldn't get the freezer to work properly. A call to maintenance was acted on promptly and it was up and running in no time. If we ever head back to Gulf Shores, we would certainly consider staying here again. |

| Four women traveled together to visit the Shrimp Festival and had a great time. My husband and I used to stay at the old Lighthouse before it was torn down to build this beautiful new facility. Room 1218 is very nicely furnished and comfortable. The ladies and I stayed here in 2006 in a room on the 11th floor and it was also very nicely furnished. However,this year, 2008, we stayed in Room 304 of the Lighthouse and it was not so good. Carpets were dirty,the air conditioner didn't work among other things. So, I have to say that room didn't live up the expectations we had come to have for the Lighthouse. Other than that, it was great. |

| First time staying in Gulf Shores after many visits to Destin. The condo itself was great along with the check-in process. We really enjoyed the property and on-site amenities. Gulf Shores was nice and quiet. The only complaint was the area was a bit too quiet - especially for families w/teenagers. There wasn't enough for them to do without us or without driving a ways at night. I'd also like to see a different checkout option as traffic to return the keys took almost 90 minutes. Would have been nice to drop the keys at the condo and then take the tollway as an alternative. But as far as the condo went - it was excellent! |
