Painted a Granny Apple Green and surrounded by towering pines and quaking Aspens, youll be delighted the minute you open the Delicious Red front door. Here you will experience what everyone hopes to find in a mountain cabin a natural stone fireplace, rustic decor, beamed T&G; ceilings, a large spa and private deck, all in a serene setting with plenty of open space between you and your neighbor. During the day you probably want to be on the lake. But as the sun sets, leave the crowds behind. Its only a short 5-minute drive up Moonridge Road, past the rolling greens of Bear Mountain Golf Course, to your peaceful cabin in the pines! In addition to the golf course, other popular summer destinations within walking distance of Apple Jacks are the Moonridge Zoo, the Bear Mountain Ski Lift and numerous hiking trails. After a return from such activities, throw the dirty clothes in the washer and dryer, run a warm bath, and then relax in front of a roaring fire while dinner simmers in the fully equipped kitchen. You can pop a DVD into the big-screen TV, which also offers access to hundreds of channels and free movies on demand. You can take a plunge in the multi-jet spa submerged in the large back deck. If business beckons or you need to check e-mail, theres a high-speed Internet connection for your laptop, as well as free coast-to-coast long distance phone service. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, with a balcony overlooking the rear deck and spa, as well as TV, VCR and DVD. The second bedroom contains 2 full-size beds and TV. It was a lovely home and an enjoyable stay. My only critique is that the exterior pictures of the cabin suggest a more rural and private lot which is not the case at all. The house actually sits in a neighborhood surrounded by other homes within a stone's throw. The vacant lot next door for sale in the previously mentioned photos creates the illusion of seclusion. With that said, everything else about the house captures the idea for a mountain retreat.

| The house was nice-cozy for a weekend getaway for 2, and would have been good for a family of 4 as well. The downstairs bedroom does not have a door and is off of the kitchen, so not a good room for any kind of privacy. The location was an easy drive to the Village, lake and hiking spots and close to the zoo. The patio spa was good to relax in after hiking, but very open to the neighbors view so not real romantic! |

| Great hot tub. Good location, but not walking distance to anything except golf course. 5-10 minute drive to most places. Clean, cozy cabin for 5-6 people. |

| This cabin was just the right size for a small family. It was located close enough to town, but just far enough away to feel away. The rooms were clean and cozy and the bed was comfy. The spa was nice, but the backyard did not have a lot of privacy and we could see into 3 or 4 other cabins. |

| This was our second stay at this location and there will likely be another. It's a very cozy cabin. There is an adjacent lot which provides a great place to play in the snow! Our dog loved it too!! |
