| the service we had was great. the cabin was very quiet and perfect for our size family. But we only came to this cabin to have a working jacuzzi. that was the only reason. my 4 year old was very disappointed. the water would not pass 74. it needed some service. there were spider webs everywhere and under the bathroom sink there was mouse crap everywhere. one would think by spending this type of money it would be clean and had everything working. even the bloody coffee pot didnt work. i would not recommend Big bear Vacations. IT WAS A FATHERS DAY PROMISE THAT WAS NOT KEPT. |

| Thank you for responding to our survey on Unit 136, Backacre. The spa in this unit is working. We have an in-house maintenance department that is available for any problem in a cabin. The spiders and mice are a continuing part of mountain living but are worse than normal this year due to the extremely dry soil. We are sorry you had these problems. Please come to Big Bear again, we want you to have a pleasant vacation. |

Nice home - we had a great time |

The home was nice with plenty of pillows, blankets. We had anticipated that the yard would be bigger for our pups, from the photos. They had a great time, anyway, and we appreciate being able to bring them.
We had trouble seeing the tv to watch, as it is mounted really high - very uncomfortable for movie watching. Also, the kitchen said "fully stocked," but there was only one pan that could be used in the oven and no hot pads. The coffee pot had to be turned back on repeatedly in order to brew a pot.
All in all we had a great time.

| I stayed here with some friends over the weekend. I have used Big Bear Vacations before and everything went smoothly so I decided to go with Big Bear Vacation again. The cabin is what I expected. Nothing fancy just a small warm cabin near the lake. I had a great time. I would do it again. |

We rented this cabin during Christmas. When we arrived, we found
it extremely dirty. I was planning on washing all dishes before use,
but was horrified when I found a spatula covered in old scrambled
eggs in the drawer. Also, we rented that cabin specifically because
it boasted a jacuzzi. Little did we know, the jacuzzi would not be
enjoyed by us. It was not full of water, had some mold like
substance growing on the filter inside, and would not even heat up.
After numerous calls stating our disappointment, nothing was done
to better the situation.
When we checked out, we mentioned our disappointment again
only to be told "someone" would be in contact with us. Five hours
after we checked out, we received a call from the rental office
asking if we checked out because they needed it clear for the next
clients!!??
After several phone calls and emails, still nothing was done to fix
the bad situation. Really all we expected was a clean and working
cabin and perhaps some actual customer service to remedy a stay
gone bad. My husband called for maybe a 6th time and finally
spoke to "someone". All they could offer was $100 back to the
credit card. I don't feel it was good enough, but we will not stay
there again, nor do we recommend big bear vacation rentals to
anyone we know. Even if the slightest effort was made on their part
to offer something better at the time, we might have a different
opinion. Customer service is not this company's strong suit. Neither
is cleanliness of their cabins. |

My wife and I had a great time. we are already thinking of next year already, the shopping was great for her and I. And the fishing was the best that I have done in a long time. The people that live up there are very friendly, I highly agree that if you want to get a way Big Bear Lake is the place to be.

| This cabin looks cute from the inside but inside it's a bit shabby and not very well appointed. We were told that it sleeps five, but the sofa sleeper was even too uncomfortable for our kids. We ended up going home early to sleep in our own beds and forfeiting our money. This was the second equally unacceptable cabin we rented from Big Bear Vacations. |

| Thank your for responding to our survey on Back Acre. We are in the process of updating this cabin with living room and bathroom painting as well as some new furniture. This is a small inexpensive cabin close to the lake and has been heavily used this year. The upgrades will make this cabin nicer to sleep in as well as look better on the inside. Again, thank you for your response. It has helped us reconginize the problem with the cabin and recify it. |

The directions to the house were not easy to follow at all, especially at night.
The bathroom in the house could use some remodeling. It's in bad shape.
The freezer had not been defrosted in quite some time and as a result it was hard to use.
The house also has a lot of ants.
I wish I had spent a little more money and stayed at a different property.

Great yard for your dog |

| We liked the little house well enough and parking situation was great! The yard space was perfect for our dog. The jacuzzi was very nice. The ant problem was bad. They were on the bedside tables, as well as all over the kitchen. The beds were VERY uncomfortable, and need to be updated. Mattresses are too hard. The fold out bed in living room was unusable due to discomfort. My son could feel the bar in his back,so he slept on the larger sofa. The bathroom needs to be re-done...paint is bad and everything is so old. The bedrooms need mini-blinds installed because the curtains are too thin. It was so very bright in the rooms that you could not sleep past sunrise! Extra sleep on vacation is what it's all about! The TV & DVD were fine, and we really appreciated the internet access. The refrigerator is too old and not very cold. The freezer had so much built up frost inside, that the door almost wouldn't close and there was hardly any space inside for your frozen food. We didn't get offered any extra towels during our 6 day stay. Is that normal? The price was too high, considering the issues mentioned. We enjoyed Big Bear very much. |

I was actually going to write to Big Bear Vacations regarding some of the problems we had with this unit, I just haven't had the time yet. The first thing we noticed, upon arriving, is that the inside of the cabin wasn't very clean. It could also use a good exterminator company (there were a lot of ants and spiders). Another issue we had was the "fully equipped" kitchen. There wasn't anything to use to put in the oven (baking pans) or even a large pot for pasta. This was a big inconvenience, as we are a family of four and do a lot of our own cooking. The freezer needed to be defrosted, thus only half of it was useable. The bottom portion of the refrigerator doesn't get cold and we had a package of boneless chicken breasts go bad. Since we spent close to $400 at the grocery store, it would have been nice to have a refrigerator that worked well. The BBQ
was okay, although BBQ tools would have helped. Feel free to contact me, should you have any comments or questions
Thank you. |

| Thank you for taking the time to write a review on Back Acre. Our housekeeping department thoroughly cleans each house before every arrival. We apologize if this was not what you experienced and are more than happy to come out and clean even after you arrive. We try to provide all the kitchen amenities one needs to feel at home, and if a cabin is missing something will work to get it. This cabin has had baking pans added to the kitchen and a bbq tool set as well. |

| Cute little cabin but not worth the money. Curtains barely covered the windows and as a result the sun woke us up very early every morning. The cabin was old and the heating was not that good. Just got back from a trip to Whistler where for less money we had a new condo that was in perfect condition, new furniture, flat screen tv's. I would not stay in this cabin again. |
