This comfortable home is within walking distance to the lake, swim beach, and Meadow Park. Just minutes to the Village or the slopes at Snow Summit. This is a cozy and cute 2 bedroom plus loft with a huge back yard. The kitchen includes a microwave and dishwasher plus a large dining table. The living room has a nice wood burning fireplace, TV/DVD/wireless internet and a laundry is also on hand for your use. The two bedrooms each have a queen beds. The loft area has a full bed and twin bed. There is a charcoal BBQ located in the fenced yard surrounded by lofty pine trees. Good pets welcome/ No smoking allowed.

THE CABIN WAS CERTAINLY ADEQUATE AND HAD EVERYTHING
IT PROMISED, BUT WAS MORE RUN DOWN THAN EXPECTED, AND
DECORATED WITH SO MUCH CUTESIE STUFF, IT WAS TO THE
POINT OF BEING DISTRACTING. FOR THE PRICE CHARGED,
THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH VALUE TO GET ME TO EVER RETURN. |

| We have stayed here twice because you can walk to swim beach and along the shore of the lake. There is great place to fish also. We have our dog and the yard is fenced. You are close to fast food and shopping. If you need something modern, this is an older home, but very comfortable for a weekend. |

The location of the cabin by the Meadow Park was just right for us, for hiking,
biking, going to the village, going to the Moonridge area etc. The cabin was
just right for us and bigger than we needed. It was quiet, good neighbor
hood, and pleasant accommodation. A previous review mentioned the
cobwebs, but these were in the windows and did not bother us. The rest of
the cabin was clean and enjoyable. |

| The cabin had everything we needed. It was large enough for 6 but could really go for 9. It is a much older cabin that is pet friendly. It had a large fenced in back yard with a dog house. We were very comfortable there and it was close to the swim beach and fireworks on 4th of July. The only bad thing I would say is that it needs some attention. The carpets are very dirty and the back yard needs attention. Also the BBQ was left very filthy. I will rent from Big Bear vacations in the future. They are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. |

| Thank you for your response to our survey on Baldwin Cottage, Unit 905. The BBQ at this house is a large barrel type. We clean our BBQ's between visits. We have an in-house housekeeping department available to care of things if they are not up to standard. We will make sure the carpets are cleaned within the month |

| We stayed in the Baldwin cabin last weekend and had a very nice time. It is definitely bigger than it looks from the outside. The loft was perfect for the kids. The only issue that we had, and it could have been a huge one was the backyard. The main reason we chose to stay at this particular cabin was because of the fenced in yard because we have a dog. Unfortunately it is apparently not fenced all that well cause Saturday morning I went out to get something from the car and saw our puppy walking across the street. I about had a heartattack since this home is very close to Big Bear Blvd and that was the direction that he was headed. Luckily I was able to see him and catch him or what was a great weekend might have turned into a horrible one. We believe that he escaped out the left side of the backyard (if you are facing the house) by the driveway where we found a break in the fence. But other than that and needing some updating we thought it was a great place and it really is walking distance to the lake which was great! |

When you first pull up to the driveway, you think "this is tiny" but once you get inside you will be amazed at how spacious this house is. Loved the loft upstairs! Perfect for kids to play during the day (just be careful of the steep stairs). The kitchen is a nice size and the yard in the back is huge, great for BBQ's in the summer and snow playing in the winter. Overall VERY happy with our 1-night stay. Too bad we couldn't stay a week!

| We stayed at Baldwin Cottage #905, for my husbands birthday weekend. It was a neat property with a huge enclosed yard, in a great location near the lake & memorial park. Just perfect for my toddler & dog! The house was big, two bedrooms plus a loft the full length of the house with computer access. BUT it was a kind of dirty, dusty and had spider webs. The windows need cleaning and some need replacement. The bathroom is pretty old/ the plug did not work in the bathtub. The house needs some TLC. While kitchen was huge, some of the glasses/dishes were really sticky. They rely on the renters to keep dishes/pans clean rather than a clean-up crew. All the christmas decorations were still up in July, which seemed a little odd, but we had a good time. We felt it should a been just a little nicer for the money we paid, but it had full laundry fac. and an amazing smoker/BBQ grill that really made the weekend a success! |

| Thank you for your response to our survey on Baldwin Cottage. We require of our staff to have all cabins clean. We are sorry we failed this standard during your stay. We do require our guests to wash the dishes but we should have checked them better prior to your arrival. Everything in the kitchen is being washed so this won't happen to a future guest. We had the spider-webs knocked down also. Many people leave trees us as decorations in their houses but we will see if some of it can be removed. Again, thank you for replying to our survey. We want all our guests to have a pleasant stay while in Big Bear. |

| My family and I spent wonderful time. The place was close to the lake and we walked to the restaurant to take our dinner. The picture matched the home and we were please to have plenty of space for all of us (4 adults and two kids) Everything was in order when we arrived. I would definitely recommend this house. there was pleny of room for kids in the backyard and we wished we had more time to enjoy it more. |

My mother and I could not have been more pleased with the cabin (absolutely darling with Teddy Bears all over which My Mom, a Bear collector, simply loved). It was so comfortbable, clean and delightfully decorated. And the back yard was a true blessing for our dogs and us....as to the service of your rental company....we were both very impressed with your professionalism, friendliness and quick response when the water heater's pilot lite went out. You had someone out there within minutes (literally) of my telephone call. We couldn't get over it! We will always use your services and in fact, have already given your name to several of our friends and relatives.
you'll be hearing from me soon....I'm planning on bringing a church group of 10 up there soon. Thank you for the priviledge of allowing me to give you my comments. |
