Vacation Rental Description
Lake House is a beautiful lakefront home that has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 with fantastic lake views. There is a sandy beach area to play and enjoy the lake as well as a boat dock for your use. The Lake House has everything you need for your perfect vacation stay anytime of the year. The entry level is a great room with fully equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. The living room is nicely furnished with high vaulted soaring ceilings and a TV/DVD/VCR and a wonderful wood burning fireplace. This level offers a full bath and 2 of the bedrooms, one with a Queen and the other with 2 twin beds. Downstairs is the master bedroom with a king size bed and its own private bathroom plus a TV. A fun packed game room is located downstairs that has a pool table, huge 60 inch TV/Stereo/Digital Cable/wireless internet and a second fireplace, laundry and common 1/2 bath. There is a queen sofa sleeper and futon bed available for your use in the game room. Enjoy your vacation playing a game of pool or relaxing in the outdoor spa on the deck while taking in the gorgeous lake and mountain views. This property has a terraced yard going down to the waters of the lake and the boat dock. There is a horseshoe pit on one of the terraces as well as patio furnishings and BBQ. Talk about convenience, this home is located right next to Holloway’s Marina and there are public Marinas also close by, so launching your boat should be no problem. Pack up the family, bring the boat and your fishing gear, Lake House is waiting for you!!Good pets are welcome. House key will unlock the boat dock for your use during your stay.

What a relaxing vacation! |

This is our second time staying in this home. We brought along our dog this time and we all had a relaxing time. It's a wonderful location right across from the marina so we would watch the boats go in and out. The kitchen and upstairs bath was completely remodeled since our last stay and a dishwasher has been added. That was a nice surprise. Everything we could ask for was available for our use in the kitchen from silverware to pitchers. I even picked up a cheese grater at the market thinking there wouldn't be one and my son found one once we got home.
My only complaints is that the jacuzzi never did get clear water in it. It had routine maintenance twice during our stay, where we had to stay out of it for two hours each time, but the water never felt really clean. Also, the downstairs carpet really needs cleaning. Other than that our trip was superb and we're hoping to #851 again soon. We see it's for sale and hope if it does own it remains a rental. |

Overall it was a great experience. The staff at the agency were helpful, the home was well maintained and was nicer in person than the pictures portrayed on the internet.
The neighborhood is very nice. Peaceful and pretty. It was also very well located near vacation amenities including grocery store, the Village, the Alpine slides and most importantly walking distance from Holloway Marina so it was easy to go and rent boats or jet skis.
The mattress on the cot downstairs needs replacing. It was in very poor condition and we chose to sleep someone on the couch instead of the cot because of that. The ants were slightly annoying although we understand that is part of mountain living. However I think you could have put a little more effort into controlling them by placing a few ant baits around key locations such as the kitchen.
We would definitely stay here again thank you. |

| This property was excellent. Everything was in working order. Great house for a large group. We enjoyed the pool table and the jacuzzi looking out to the lake. I would definitely stay here again. |

| Stayed at this cabin with several friends over the weekend, and it could not have been better. The house was wonderful, and looked even better than it had in the pictures online. Everything was in working order, and it could not have made for a more relaxing weekend. To anyone looking for a nice getaway weekend, this would be at the top of my list. We are definitely planning on going back for years to come. |

We really enjoyed our weekend at Lake House 851. There were 8 adults staying in this cabin and between the bedrooms and the gameroom there was ample sleeping space.
The kitchen was very well stocked from wine glasses to pots and pans.
There was plenty of room for us to hang out and enjoy the gorgeous view!
We did notice that the upstairs rooms were over heated while the downstairs rooms took much longer, but this was minor.

| We spent a wonderful wintery week in this home. It was spacious. Furnishings were tasteful and comfortable. I would highly recommend the home. My only concerns were (1) that the lower rooms (family room, master bedroom, bath and guest bath) were a bit cool and, in order to heat them, we had to blast the heat and block off vents and turn on fans in upper bedrooms)...and (2)that the home had no dishwasher. |

Lake House is a great home. We appreciated the care that the owner has obviously given to it, including all of the special touches all over the house. It is homey, warm, inviting, restful. My husband and I and our friends really enjoyed ourselves. There are a few things that could make the stay better. First is the poor heating on the lower level. If we were comfortable upstairs, it was cold downstairs. There seemed to be only one heating vent downstairs that did not adequately heat the room. Secondly, we were not able to turn on the light over the dining room table. The downstairs master bedroom's lighting is too dim. It would be great if Lake House had an ironing board and iron. These are our suggestions.

We enjoyed a long getaway weekend at Lake House #851 in Big Bear Lake. Everything from the check-in process, the location, the home and amenities were top notch. The vacation home itself offered many diversions; fireplace, big screen TV, pool table, outdoor spa, numerous decks, boat dock and views, views, views.
And of course Big Bear itself offers plenty of outdoor recreation.
We highly recommend a vacation to this beautiful area. |

| We enjoyed the beautiful home. It had a great view and tons of room for us and our 3 dogs. The master bedroom was downstairs, which was a pain to have to go up and down many times during the day, since the kitchen was upstairs. The back yard was all dirt and a huge hill, which was bad for the dogs when they went into the water and got out to proceed to the house! UGH! Mud is the worst. The kitchen had everything anyone would need. The fireplace downstairs was great as was the big screen tv and pool table. It was a nice property, but probably not the best place if you have dogs who want to swim. |

This house was rented for our large family of teenagers and young adults. More than adequate room for all and the house was in immaculate condition. Amenities were plenty which included a roomy kitchen, 2 balconies, jacuzzi, and pool table. All were utilized and allowed for some great fun for all who took part in this vacation. Calm and serene atmosphere, yet close enough to all conveniences such as gas stations and grocery stores. The cabin like feel of the house added to the ambiance.
This house is highly recommended for all since it has the best of everything needed for a fun vacation.
