Lakefront Leisure is a large one bedroom and one bath home. Located right on the lake and a perfect romantic retreat. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher and laundry. The living room has a wood burning fireplace, 55" HD TV/DVD/wireless internet and a sofa sleeper. Let's not forget thosevfantastic views of Big Bear Lake. The bedroom has a queen size bed, and TV. The best part of this property is the wonderful decking in the back that lead to the your own private boat dock (the owner will have his boat and jet-skis at the dock-this dock is a square pad-not a slip-there is a side available to tie off your boat) and small beach area. There is a outdoor spa that you can watch the sunrise or sunset overlooking the lake. This home offers everything you could want for a vacation getaway . Unlimited long distance phone service avaliable too. Pets ok but no smoking allowed.

Highly recommended for families looking for a home
away from home. This little bungalow has
everything you need from basic amenities (gas stove
top, micro wave, and oven) plus a fire-place,
jacuzzi, gas grill, lake front sunsets, and ease of
access to all that Big Bear offers. It's about 5
minutes from the village, 15 minutes to picnic and
hiking. Our only concern was for the deck area, as
there are a few deck boards with nail heads and
screws that would hurt little kids running
barefoot, and previous reviews mentioned unstable
railings, which we looked for, but found none. We
brought linens and food, but didn't need either as
the house has plenty of sheets and blankets, a
washer and dryer, and the village has plenty of
markets for all needs. Over all, this was an ideal
choice and location and we look forward to a future
stay. |

| The place was nice, but many things were were broken...washing machine knob was missing so we did not use the washer; BBQ lid handle was broken so we had to leave the lid open. The coffee pot was cracked so we had to call for another one. It was just some inconveniences after another. Otherwise, the location is wonderful and very nice. |

| My Husband book this home for our 18th wedding annv. and it was great. The front room looks out to the lake with a big fire place and a big screen TV (that never got turn on). Has a very nice size kitchen that he cook a nice breakfast for us. It also has a hot tub out on the back deck that over looks a cove to the lake. Very peaceful and quiet. We will be back to this one for sure. I would recommend this to anyone for a get away! We had a great time. Also the staff at Big Bear Vacation is wonderful! |

This was a great cabin for the views. The front windont gets a great view of the lake and the back pation has a canal/lake view as well. I loved the views!! However, the cabin was just ok. There were a lot of spiders, cobwebs, and it seems like if it were being rented out it could be kept up better. The outside patio was very dirty and the charcoal BBQ did not heat up to cook, so I suggest bringing one. Inside was clean but we traveled with an 10 month old who is crawling. Needless to say, all of my time looking at the ground pointed out all of the animal pee stains on the carpet from previous guest. The bathroom slider (glass doors), were broken and almost fell off the track and onto the floor. Also, the owner had jet skies at the dock which was not listed as a possibility in the description like other ads and we had a boat.
With all of this said, Big Bear Vacations staff was very pleasent and responded to the glass door situation and jet ski situation immediatly. Resolving both for us within an hour.
I also suggest bringing your own kitchen utensils and pots becasue their are slim pickings.
Not a bad stay. Great location, cabin could be a little cleaner but not the worst and not the best for what we paid. |

We spend Father's day weekend at this cabin... we were able to have a nice bbq in the back patio and the dinning table was big enough for a nice breakfast. The view from the jacuzzi is great and the kids would wave at the people on the boat coming down the lake. The water in the jacuzzi was cold, and it would not get hot... and the outside seats were all dirty, including the patio chair and tables. It looks small from the outside but it was actually bigger than we expected. Based on the other reviews, I packed extra sheets and blankets, and I was actually good because I covered the cough and the bed. I have allergies and I could tell that the sofa and the carpet could benefit from some deep cleaning or replacement. I did feel like walking in the carpet without shoes bec it was dirty and had many stains. The property is fenced in, which is great if you bring a pet. I think we would go back if they change the old cough and carpet. I left with bad allergies, maybe from the other pets that stay there...
oh, internet is available which made it nice to be able to catch up on emails and work.
the access to the lake is a bit small and very limited... there is not really much you can do in the "beach area"... that aspect of it, I was disappointed bec from the pictures it looked like we would be able to walk around... overall, the place is cute, but it needs to get a full "make over"... and get cleaned up. Specially if you have families over with little kids...

| My husband, my 4 year old son and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. The cabin was very clean, roomy and homey. The back patio leading to the lake was beautiful and completly furnished with loungers, chairs and tables. The spa overlooking the water was not only great for my husband and I, but served as a perfectly sized pool for my son. We may actually try to get this same cabin again next year. |

| Nice home on lake. Went here for a weekend retreat. Enjoyed the home, however, there were some significant housekeeping issues that need to be remedied to make the experience more enjoyable: 1) Spare linens, blankets, etc were shoved into some shelves and other storage spaces providing for an unpleasant appearance; 2) Junk (water bottles, food wrappers, etc) from previous occupants under bed and in shelves; 3) Exhaust fan above stove not working, causing smoke alarm to sound in kitchen while cooking; 4) Misc. items not fully stocked (partially used roll of paper towels, etc) so we ran out; 5) Could not find remote to signal box for TV, so we were unable to watch it. Remote found near end of stay under one of the couches. |

| The location and view was amazing (on a peninsula, so lakeview on both sides). Perfect size for a romantic couple get away, but I wouldn't try to squeeze any more in. Some minor maintenance issues (toilet continually flushed and had to be stopped manually in the tank, no lights in the kitchen worked, washer/dryer didn't work, back door difficult to close, old toppled furniture strewed out in yard...). So a little overpriced for what you get, but all in all the vacation was nice. |

this is a very quaint cabin nicely done inside and cozy enough at night to keep you there. Couple of issues w/ no power or lights in some areas but other than that; a nice place to spend a few nights

| We very much enjoyed the secluded location for a quiet and peaceful retreat. Everything was perfect the only minor point I want to bring up is unfortunately the heating system was so loud everytime it turned on we woke up about every two hours on average. It was a perfect time away in all other senses. |

Great Get Away |

This small but spacious cabin was perfect for our 5 year anniversary.
The place is dog friendly, right on the lake, and close to everything
you would want to do in Big Bear. We had an amazing weekend and
had no complaints with the cabin. We enjoyed keeping a fire lit, the
hot tub at night, and the cosy nature of this location. I would
recommend this place to anyone and we are sure to return. |
