Sad, but true
We made the reservation online and all we had to go
on were the photos on the website. From what we
saw, it looked like a perfect cabin for the 6 of us
going. But unfortunately, not too long after
arrival we slowly started noticing all the things
wrong with the place. The home was EXTREMELY dusty
everywhere, to the point that most of us slept over
the bed covers and used the few blankets we had
taken with us. The heater only worked on the 2nd
floor making the bedroom on that floor only warmest
room, while the other 2 bedrooms on the third floor
were constantly freezing. The faucet on the 3rd
floor which was missing a knob burst the second day
we were there causing a leak on the ceiling of the
living room. Had to wait for the plumber = missed
snow boarding that day. Lastly, one of us noticed a
water bottle or 2 and some other debris under one
of the beds upon on arrival, ignored it, but ended
up getting charged for leaving trash behind when we
can assure you that we left the cabin in pristine
condition when we left.
The only positive thing I can say about the place
was that it had a jacuzzi which surprisingly worked
pretty well. All in all, we were completely
dissatisfied with our stay at this cabin. More...

Great weekend getaway
We rented this cabin for an extended weekend getaway and found it to be a great value. The cabin was clean, in a quiet neighborhood and centrally located. There was plenty of parking for our multiple vehicals. there was plenty of room for our family of 8 and we had a teriffic time.we have no complaints. More...

Should be Main Street Cabin
I booked this cabin for one week, and expected it to be in the 'mountains'. Well, it was, indeed, but on a very busy street, with trucks passing by from early morning to late at night. Not exactly the quiet retreat I had in mind.
Then, to top it all off, they insist you check out at 11 am, bring your own trash first to a remotely located approved trash area, and at 10:30 the hot tub guy shows up to clean it for the next customers, and you have smelly chemicals in your face while packing.
In addition, they had a pool table, but only 1 working pool cue. The rest had no tips. All the lamp shades were scotch-taped on, the window shades were mostly broken, and the stove rocked back and forth so much that you couldn't boil water. So, someone needs to work on maintenance checks.
Anytime in the mountain area is relaxing, but for the amount of money I paid, and the total experience, it was a disappointment.
By the way, if you don't like rock-hard pillows, bring your own, and if you like nice sheets, also bring your own. Oh, and want a table cloth for the outside dining room table? None is provided, so again, bring your own. More...

OUR FAMILY GETAWAY
THIS WAS AN AWESOME VACATION AND A GREAT PLACE TO REUNITE WITH MY FAMILY, MY DAUGHTER WHO LIVES IN NY, AND MY STEPDAUGHTER AND HER BOYFRIEND.
THE RESIDENCE WAS SPACIOUS, AIRY,
AND VERY BREATHTAKING... IT WAS VERY RESTFUL AND PROVED TO BE A VERY REWARDING TIME FOR BONDING WITH THE FAMILY...ESPECIALLY FOR ME AND MY DAUGHTER LAUREN...
AS FOR MY GAL PEGGY, IT WAS
GREAT BECAUSE IT GAVE US QUALITY TIME TOGETHER AND A PLACE TO FORGET ABOUT THE DAILY ROUTINE...
THE HOME WAS FILLED WITH LAUGHTER, AND LOVE... THE HOME WAS LARGE ENOUGH SO THAT EVERYONE WERE ABLE TO DO THEIR OWN THING, AND COME AND GO AS THEY PLEASED. THE HOME OFFERED A SPECTACULAR VIEW OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD, AND BIG BEAR MOUNTAINS....IF I COULD HAVE STAYED LONGER I WOULD HAVE... I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU SHOULD STAY AT LEAST A WEEK TO BE ABLE TO SEE ALL THAT BIG BEAR HAS TO OFFER AS A VACATION AREA.....
SINCERELY
