the worst cabin I've rented
we rented this cabin for one night, and that was too long. Lucky it was just 4 guys who arrived at night, because the cabin is in terrible shape. the kitchen is gross, the tv is 20 years old, the beds are like cots with springs, I'm just lucky I brought a sleeping bag so I didn't have to touch the bedding. The rental place was nice to come out quickly and figure out how to fix the odd appliance fireplace and get the heater working. this cabin is in such bad shape, I'm just glad there wasn't a woman staying there. Did I mention the nails sticking out of the carpet? More...

Nice place.
This house was fairly clean. The tub was either stained or not clean. there was a lot of spider web, it looks like nobody's been staying there for a while. Some bedding clothe were stained. The carpet need some work it has quite some nails sticking out. The shower wasn't running. It is a cozy little house but it needs some maintenence. My expectation were a little too high, so it was disappointing at first.
the community is really nice and quiet. Big Bear Lake is beautiful place, my family and I would love to go back next summer.

Terrible
Nothing works.Toilet does not drain, hot water is cold in a few minutes, stairs handle is shaky and not safe.We started our stay from the call to a maintanance guy, since 3 windows were stuck[not opening],microwawe died in a 3to4 minutes of use.The back of the bed upstairs falling apart.I understand that it is not 5 stars hotel, but there is a limit to everything.

A little ruff for me......
Watch out for the carpettacs in kitchen (will cut your feet open) also i had to fix toilet (didnt flush) and had to also fix shower knob(didnt turn on water to spray) place needs a little TLC.......but was a cozy place to stay.....VERY QUIT AND CLOSE TO LAKE... More...
