Sunrise Retreat is a three bedroom, three bath home. The kitchen has enough room for a holiday dinner with everything you need. The living room features a huge fireplace and has the most comfortable couches, and a nice size TV with a DVD/VCR. There is a stereo to enjoy your favorite CDs. The furniture in this home is functional and gorgeous. The master bedroom has a king size bed and TV/VCR. The 2nd bedroom has a king bed, and the 3rd has a queen size bed. It will sleep EIGHT comfortablyr. Sunrise Retreat is only minutes from the lake, hiking/biking trails, and the slopes. There is a Washer/Dryer for those messy clothes from all your activities. It is about 15 minutes from the Village where there is superb shopping and dining. Sunrise Retreat not only offers an exciting sunrise, but an awesome place to relax. This cabin includes FREE: HBO, Cinemax, Showtime and many other popular movie channels, Blazing-fast wireless Internet and Unlimited nationwide long distance calling. Good pets are welcome.

This house is so great! It felt like we were staying with friends,
the place is so comfortable. Full of wonderful touches like fluffy,
white towels folded into origami shapes awaiting us when we
arrived, along with small shampoos and soaps, just like a luxury
hotel. A fully stocked kitchen with any pot or pan you might
need. A teddy bear on every bed (the kids loved them!).
We were in the hot tub while snow was falling around us, and
when some of it stuck, the kids went sledding down the hill in
the back (with the plastic toboggans provided). The jacuzzi tub
in the master bathroom was a favorite place for the kids after a
day of skiing or playing outside in the cold. And we all caught up
on our reading or played board games beside the warm fireplace
in the evening.
We had two families of four with a total of four adults and four
kids ages 5-14. Each set of parents took a room with a king
sized bed and we had the kids sleeping in the room with the
queen and on an air mattress in the living room. The three
bathrooms were key, with one for the kids and one for each
couple. Also well-used was the washer and dryer when the kids
came in muddy and wet from snow play.
Overall we had a fantastic experience. |

| This home has everything you could need, maybe even more than you have in your own home. The location is in a very nice neighborhood, just 10 minutes from Snow Summit (even with chains on). The only issue we had was that the description says it has a sofa bed and it does not, so if you plan to have the maximum occupancy of 8, bring your own air bed for the extra 2 people above the beds in the house. |

We enjoyed our stay at Sunrise Way. The bedrooms and baths are comfortable. The house was clean and well appointed.
We are always hesitate to rent a place that permits pets as many people are not as conscientious about cleanliness when it comes to their pets. We were very pleased to find the home clean w/ no evidence of prior pets. We made sure that the same could be said of us when we left.
We also own a vacation rental home and so perhaps are more critical when renting other homes that are not up to our high standards.
This home was a pleasant surprise. The kitchen was well stocked with gadgets, utensils, etc. there were games and DVDs for the kids. Beds were comfortable w/ quality linens. This is obviously a well loved home.
Only "negative" was the amount of stairs to enter the house. It was no problem for us, but could not bring the grandparents for a future visit as they can only do a few steps. |

| The cabin was perfect for small children with lots of personal touches and warmth. We really enjoyed our time there. The hill out back was perfect for sledding and the location was good for being away from the crowds. The cabin had all the amenities that we could dream of and we were very warm and comfortable. I do think that the cleaning service could be more thorough with regard to dusting. There was a think coverage on the doorframes, ceiling fans and the many ornamental plants in the cabin. A few of us allergy sufferers were in need of some relief from the dust. That aside, we will come back and hope to rent it again in 2009!! |

This was a beautifully decorated and comfortable home. The area is great for walks and the veiws are spectacular. It was one of the best rentals we've ever stayed in at Big Bear.
The spa did not ever get hot,so that is the only thing keeping it from the highest reccomendation. I'm sure this can be fixed.
In spite of that, I would go back again! |
