Cute and cozy little cabin in the sky with everything you need for a secluded
mountain weekend. The hot tub had been serviced the day before our arrival
and was hot! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The TV
had cable so we could watch college football. The location was convenient to
everything we wanted to do--hiking and visiting the village.
In short--we loved it. The only downsides was one loose stair and railing
coming up to the front door that you had to be aware of and the beds were not
too comfortable--but admittedly we are hard to please when it comes to beds.
This has to be one of the best weekend bargains in Big Bear and the service
from Big Bear Vacations was OUTSTANDING!

We extended our stay not just because we loved the nature but because we simply enjoyed staying in the cabin. it was clean organized and met all the standards listed on the website. the view from the balcony as well as from the bedroom was simply breathtaking as we enjoyed sitting in the balcony at night and opening our eyes to the beatiful nature and tree braches by our bedroom windows.
we would love to rent this place once again next year.

My husband and I needed to get away for some time alone. Our daughter was away on a school trip and we were a little jealouse that she was going to have all the fun. We researched several properties and came upon the "Tree Top Villa" by chance. We origionally called to book another cabin, but it wasn't available. The person taking reservations recommended the cabin. We loved the location and the surroundings of course. The only thing that we thought was that there were a lot of stairs. There's a flight of stairs to get into the cabin and then another flight to get to the living area. The bottom floor for us was waisted space. We had a hard time leaving the cabin during the day because it was so relaxing. At night, we went into the jaccuzzi for hours and loved to watch the stars. We even saw satellites a few times. The bad thing about the jaccuzzi was that the top was a little damaged, so we couldn't remove it completely or it would be damaged even more. Also, the light didn't work for the jaccuzzi and the bubbles kept shutting off. The button was hard to push to get it going again for approx. 10 min time frames. Overall, the negatives were very small in our opinion. We truely had a wonderful time and would love to go again. Actually, we had such a good time that we've considered moving there in a few years when our daughter finishes high school. I would highly recommend for a young couple or group of people. Definately private and quiet but not stuffy.

I did not enjoy our trip overall. The cabin overall was nice, but the hot
tub water was dirty, smelled and the lid was busted. Trying to find
activities for children under 5 was almost impossible.

My family and I just spent a fun and relaxing weekend at Tree Tops Villa. It had everything we needed for the price that we paid. I was glad to find out that everything was working fine and cookware was included. We also really enjoyed the hot tub, which was one of the reasons we got this cabin. I would recommend this cabin for a small group of people though, unless you don't mind everyone sharing a shower. I was disappointed in finding out that it only had 1 full bathroom. Usually when I look online for cabins and it says 2 bath included, that to me means both bathrooms have a shower or else it would say 1 1/2 bath. Also, we did notice the cabin wasn't cleaned very well. There was dust and spider webs in some places, and we did have to have the shower curtain replaced due to being really dirty. But, I was glad to find out that the staff was very friendly and maintenance was available right away.

We enjoyed our stay at the Tree Top Villa. It is a comfortable home for a short stay. The kitchen was not stocked well for cooking, we had to go to town to purchase some pans etc for cooking. If you don't have a lot of stuff to take in, then it should be ok. Otherwise WAY TOO MANY stairs (2 flights) to get everything into the living quarters.

This cabin was great! We had 8 people stay and we were all comfortable. There were enough dishes and towels to accomidate everyone. The hot tub was working and easy to use. The only problems we had were that it was very icy and slippery when walking up to the cabin, and downstairs did not heat up very well. we spent most of our time upstairs, but extra blankets were definitely needed for people sleeping downstairs.

All in all, the home was ok at best. There were several issues that were aggravating... After driving almost 3 hours with our 2 year old son, we had to wait almost an hour and a half, because the house wasn?t ready when promised. When it was supposedly ready, on the surface the location and the house were both nice, but there were some major issues... The spa, dryer and heat downstairs did not work at all... After being on the slopes all day, we looked forward to relaxing in the spa...no such luck! It never would heat up! The day we were leaving we washed our cloths and the dryer would not dry...ridicules that for almost 350.00 a night that we would have to bag up wet cloths and take them to all the way back to LA to dry them. You would figure for as much as we paid for the property that everything would have been checked and been in working order, since we were held up so long to begin with?obviously the house keeper was doing something besides keeping house. Bottom line, we will not stay there again, nor would I recommend anyone else there either. Best of luck!

Arrived to this property mid week in early Jan. and checked in with a friendly enough C/S staff. Upon entering this property noticed that it needed to be greatly renovated. The dinner table chairs were broken, light fixtures broken. downstairs TV never worked? The issue that concerned us mainly is the spa never warmed up enough and Big Bear Vacations never took any action to make me, wife and 3 kids happy. The outdoor spa was our primary reason we wanted this property. To this day the C/S Mgr. still has never contacted me for an explanation or resolution after my complaint form was filled out upon check-out? BE CAREFUL to rent quality if you u want to spoil ur family. This property is not it!

We just spent a wonderful week at the Tree Top Villa Cabin and had a GREAT time. This is the first time that we stayed in a Cabin and the first time we all stayed in Big Bear and it was perfect. The cabin had great views of Big Bear Mountain, we were secluded in a beautiful mountain neighborhood however it was still very close to shopping, bars, and StarBucks. When we drove to the cabin everything was in order and we were pleased to learn that the pictures online matched the home, however the cabin looked even more beautiful than the photos online.
We'd definitely recommend this cabin - especially if you're bringing a lot of friends and want to spend a nice cozy weekend near the fireplace. We cooked, the grill outside worked better than our own. We'll be back in a couple months to visit the Tree Tops Villas. My only issue is that the Jacuzzi did not get hot it stayed luke warm, other than that we had a blast. Enjoy.

My son, his girlfriend and myself had a wonderful time in Big Bear. The cabin was pretty big for the three of us but that was okay because we each had our own space. I hateddd the stairs but I can understand the reason for it. Being a single mom the price was very reasonable. When I checked in everyone was extremely nice and helpful. The cabin was clean and organized. The enviroment surrounding the cabin was peaceful. I will most likely return in the winter. I can only imagine what that place looks like with snow everywhere. Very nice. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to have such an experience.

To be honest, I was worried since it was my first time renting the cabin on my own for summer camping with my college friends. However, the manager made the renting process very easy and convenient.
Although the spa had little mechanical problem on first day, mechanic came early next morning to fix the spa.
The television in main living room was actually fair big size compare to other cabins I've been to.
The structure of cabin was, however, very uncomfortable.
The spa, main living room, kitchen, and shower room were all located in second floor.
There are some advantages and disadvantages in this.
For one thing, by having the kitchen and dining room in second floor, it didn't attract as much insects as it should have.
However, having spa on balcony of second floor, right on top of parking lot, was bad setup, since the chlorine water splashed all over our cars.
Also, air conditioner was very inefficient for second floor.

Overall, the cabin was well cleaned, well stocked (with towels, plates, cups, etc), and well prepared (including spa, bed, and renting process).
I also liked their check-out policy, which only requires removing of all trash.
However, taking out the trash to garbage site was little hassle.

I really recommend renting this cabin to other group of people.
Also, great place to party, since the cabin is secluded from other cabins, and floor plan is also excellent for the noisy events. Tired people can go first floor to relax and rest, while excited people can party and dance all they want in second floor.

The driving direction to this place may get first-timers lost on their way to and out of the cabin place.
