My 93-year old dad from Portland(OR)flew to Atlanta to visit (we bring him here once or twice a year). He had never been to the Gulf and had never stayed in a high rise condo at the beach (10A - East). It turned out he was afraid of heights, but he learned to go onto the balcony. He loved the view. In his travels, I don't believe that he had ever stayed in a temporary unit as nice as 10A. The three of us enjoyed our 4-nights at Beach Colony (I tried to go back on short notice (7/31-8/3) but could not find a unit for only a few days. We plan to return in June/July 2010. The Vrbo website and Pointe South Realty were really great to work with (including permitting an early checkin. Unit 10A - East is a NICE unit.

What a great vacation! This was our first visit to Perdido Key
and I think we have definitely found a new favorite spot! The
condo was beautiful with all the amenities we needed! The
office staff went above and beyond to help us feel like we had all
our needs met! Thanks for a fabulous week of letting all the
cares of the world go and basking in the beauty of the beach!

This condo is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need if you plan to cook. The staff at Pointe South Vacation Rentals were so helpful and responded quickly with all of our questions. We definitely want to come back next year! The only concern is that if you have very small children it is not perfectly child proofed. You will have to move some of the more tempting decorations from where little hands can get them. (don't worry we put everything right back :)
