I really did enjoy my stay in the Schonblick! I told all my family and friends about the cabin. The cabin was so pretty and clean, I am going to make it back before the end of the year. I hope to take my elderly parents to the cabin before the end of the year! More...

My wife really enjoyed the visit at Schonblik. It was a great set up and well maintained. I would have liked a different Shower head for the main shower, but that's very minor. The hot tub had a high chlorine level and it irritated the nose and throat, however not enough to keep me out. I loved the TV and brought some DVDs to watch during the rain. We ate out for one night and cooked shrimp to other, both of which were wonderful. The couches were very comfortable as well as the bed.

I think that it would have been great if there was a place for MLC customers to park to walk around in Gatlinburg. We did not do so because we did not wish to pay to park.

Overall wy wife and I had a great visit and would gladly return another time.

The house was spectacular! hot tub was great! view was absolutely georgous! Just can't say enough to explain how great it was!

We had a great time in Schonblick. Beautiful cabin, great view, clean environment. Can't wait to do it all over again. Management was super, very helpful and friendly

I wanted to take my 12-year old son on a Smoky Mountain vacation but couldn't decide on a place to stay. I was searching online and found Mountain Laurel Chalets and Schonblick almost by accident. As soon as I saw the pictures and read the description of this place, I had to book it. I was not disappointed. Schonblick has everything you need to enjoy your stay and more. We almost couldn't wait to get "home" every day after hiking or sight-seeing. The view was great. The chalet is at the end of the road and very private. It seemed almost too quiet at times because the surrounding cabins were not occupied during our stay. The chalet is decorated with loving care and many bears, and you can see that the owners want their guests to enjoy their stay. The drive up and down the mountain is a bit harrowing but well worth it. When you drive to the bottom of the mountain take a left and you're in town, take a right and you're in the park. I wholeheartedly recommend Schonblick and Laurel Mountain Chalets. I miss being there as I write this.
