Spiritwood Cabin is a rustic wilderness getaway in an area of north woods camps located 15 miles to Kalkaska and 50 miles from Traverse City in beautiful Northwestern Michigan.
With 500 ft. frontage on the Manistee River and a private island, the newer two bedroom and loft cabin is a perfect location to enjoy outdoor recreation. Three canoes and paddles are supplied. Nearby are thousands of acres in Pere Marquette State Forest for hunting and miles of groomed snowmobile trails. Downhill skiing at Schuss Mountain is about 50 minutes away, and Boyne Mountain is over an hour away. Your vacation home is tastefully decorated in North Woods rustic style, and features natural maple wood floors, a large fieldstone fireplace, screened in porch, and an outdoor hot tub on the deck that overlooks the river. There are 2 televisions, 1 VCR, a modern kitchen with range, refrigerator, microwave oven, dishes, pots and pans, silverware, Mr. Coffee and a toaster. There is also a gas grill and outdoor furniture. Maximum occupancy is 6, with 2 private bedrooms and additional sleeping in the open loft. There is 1 bath, 2 double beds, 2 twin beds, and linens are included. No pets are allowed. You may find it helpful to shop for any necessary food or personal staples before arriving at River Cabin. You will need to bring your own life jackets. NO PHONE SERVICE AVAILABLE AT THE CABIN.
