This large 3 bedroom and loft contemporary home is nestled in the woods at Birchwood Farms Golf and Country Club. Featuring luxurious Egyptian Cotton sheets and towels for your comfort, it has a main floor master bedroom, a large walk-in shower in the master bath, and two other bedrooms each with a large full bathroom. Expansive windows provide a view of the glorious hardwoods that surround the home, and of woodland critters scurrying and grazing in their habitats. A wide open living space combines the well equipped kitchen, dining and great rooms, as well as a large deck where you can relax, grill and dine. The wood burning fireplace warms chilly northern Michigan evenings. A large video library has many classic films for the whole family to enjoy. The home also features work out equipment and cable internet service is available for an additional fee. Guests can enjoy seasonal on-site amenities including 27 hole private championship golf course, professionally staffed tennis and golf pro shops, tennis courts, large heated outdoor pool, complete clubhouse, superb dining, and miles of cross country ski trails. | House was ideal. Beds good and kitchen great! Had all TV's, DVR's, cable you,d ever need. Except for a wasp encedent , all went extremely well.. We will rent again ! |

| We loved the layout and location of this home. It had all the conveniences of home with three full bathrooms, walk-in closets in all 3 bedrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, very nice laundry room, and family room large enough to accommodate all five of us comfortably. Our only issues were the kitchen countertops that were warped and buckled, splintery picnic table/gliders in need of replacing (one of our party sustained a splinter in her hand from the table), soiled carpeting on the steps as you enter the home, and a rather dreary/musty lower level bedroom. The home is in need of some 'freshening up' in our opinion. Everything else about the home and area was great -- we very much enjoyed our stay, which was our first vacation to Michigan. |

| We all loved the house! We especially loved the 2-story family room with kitchen bar seating, a table that comfortably seated 10, and another table for "game" playing. We never felt crowded in the week we were there. Our only "complaint" was that the main level didn't have a 1/2 bath, so we had to use someone's bedroom bathroom during the day. Not a big deal - we just thought it was strange. We love being in Birchwood Farms, with access to the pool, tennis courts, golf course, and clubhouse - which had delicious food at very reasonable prices. We would definitely rent this house again - a fantastic value for our family. |
