This immaculate home at Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club has an open floor plan and many quality features. The fully equipped and professionally designed kitchen provides ample storage and preparation space, Quaker Made cabinetry, tile floors, a center island with sink, and top of the line appliances. Prepare beverages at the wet bar in the living area, and gaze outside through the wall of windows overlooking the deck. Air conditioning cools hot summer days, or light a fire in the brick fireplace, with an instant gas starter, to warm chilly evenings. Other amenities include expanded basic cable, a 32" TV, plus a DVD and VCR. Sliding doors open to the deck with a BBQ grill & patio furniture. Wander down the bluestone path beyond the deck to a sitting area where you can enjoy the naturalized landscaped surroundings and wildlife. The master bedroom on the main floor has a king bed and sliding doors to a covered deck. A huge master bath comes with a jetted Jacuzzi tub, and it has “his” & “hers” sinks and walk-in closets! Upstairs in the hallway, a built in office is where you can set up your laptop computer to the available WIFI internet and e-mail your loved ones about how much fun you’re having UP NORTH! There is also a full bath, bedroom with a king, and a bedroom with two twins. The newly renovated Birchwood Country Club’s amenities are available seasonally for our guests, including 27 spectacular holes of pristine northern Michigan golf, professionally staffed tennis and golf pro shops, 10 tennis courts, heated outdoor pool, world class dining, fitness center, hiking and biking trails, miles of cross country ski trails, and more. Daily usage fees apply. Downtown Harbor Springs is only minutes away for shopping, water sports, public beaches and dining. Downhill ski slopes Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob are close by.

Nice home and we enjoyed our stay. However I felt it was not furnished to par. Kitchen was equipped with very low end small appliances - cofee pot, toaster, etc. No food processor, poor garbage arrangement. There was no hair dryer. The furnishings in general seemed a little dated. The twin beds very uncomfortable and hard. I feel for the cost, more is expected. Especially disliked the distance to main road and pool.
Loved the deer who visited each day.
I think a mid week cleaning would be appropriate in light of the hefty cleaning cost that is charged
