A vacation at the Water Street Inn provides plenty of opportunity for you to enjoy area activities. You’re only steps away from the beach where you can bask in the sun or swim in Lake Charlevoix. Fishing charters and boat rentals can be arranged through local marinas. Your suite is one city block from where you may indulge in some of the areas’ finest restaurants, browse unique shops, take in a movie and enjoy great entertainment. Many challenging golf courses are an easy drive. Main winter activities include downhill and cross-country skiing, ice skating, snowmobiling and ice fishing. Ski areas within 30 miles are Boyne Mountain, Boyne Highlands, Nubs Nob, Shanty Creek and Treetops Sylvan. The Inn has lockers available for storing your ski equipment. For your convenience, there is a guest laundry room on site.

I visited for business travel, not during
peak season. The hotel has a little bit
of a "self-serve" feel to it, with help
yourself coffee for the rooms, movies (VCR
players are in the room), and a library.
The third floor suites are fantastic with
an upstairs bedroom, and downstairs family
room and kitchenette. The balcony faces
the lake and the view at sunset and
sunrise is really nice. |
