We rented Beach House Resort #9 for Christmas week 2009 - we didn't see anyone at the rental company, just picked up and dropped off keys at the mailbox so can't comment on that - but the unit itself was excellent value for the money - newly remodeled, very clean, well-equipped and great ocean views. As an end unit it has an extra window in the living area, which is great, but it's also the end next to a busy restaurant so that can be a minus if you want to open that window. It's very close to the bridge to Cortez and easy walk to Bridge Street. We'll rent there again.

I was in FL tending to mostly business & had my mother w/ me for company. I was worried I would bore her w/ being there while I was focused on business. Part of my business lead me through the door of Island Vacation Properties. There, I was very welcomed by Tom. Tom listened to my many points of interest & needs. He provided an abundance of information. I knew I had stumbled into the right place! He filled Ann in on everything we were looking for & between them both they took very good care of us. Within the hour we were walking through the door of an impressive condo that was way more than we even expected. It was the perfect size for us two & it came along with just about everything we could imagine to have needed. The spa was an extra bonus. What we liked best would be hard to single out. The customer service from Tom & Ann was unmeasurable, the unit was top notch, right on the beach w/ amazing sunsets, the spa was huge & although shared w/ the other building's units we had it to ourselves - so many things were what I liked best. It was all so great its hard to pick a "best". The unit had everything you need to cook a 4 course meal or just have a glass of wine to sit on the deck to enjoy the beautiful evening. There was nothing I liked the least. If I had to say anything that I liked the least...I can only say a small bottle of dish soap would have been helpful as we did not eat at our unit w/ being on the run so much. The few glasses we had was a hand washing amount but the welcome packet did not provide a small bottle to hand wash. That would have been handy instead of us looking all over to find a small bottle of dish soap to purchase at a local store. Our unit & our agents were so great we surely wanted to leave everything as nice & clean as we found it.

The service we received from Island Vacation Properties was great. We loved the home. It was the perfect size for my husband and myself. The location was great. We were a short distance from stores and restaurants and even walked down the beach to dinner on several nights. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again soon! More...

From the sofa in the unit you can hardly see the sand below, the view is totally water, you are that close!

It's fun to walk out onto the beach to the restaurant next door for breakfast the first day!

We liked that this is not a large condo site with many units. It's cozy. Easy to park and near the Cortez Bridge for quick access to the mainland.

The bedroom could use a second night table and lamp for couples who read in bed. More...
