2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms first floor flat. This Shipyard Plantation villa is recently redecorated with new furniture, carpeting and paint in a bright, cheerful beach theme. Guest bathroom totally remodeled in 2008. Spacious, open layout with the largest deck and windows facing the golf course. FREE high speed wireless internet access with two desk areas available. Three TVs (one HDTV) plus DVD/VCR player. Convenient, first floor entry. Well-equipped kitchen and full-size laundry. Quiet, safe end of cul-de-sac location with little traffic. A short walk to the beach and Shipyard Racquet Club. Community pool and heated spa on-site. PET FRIENDLY VILLA. ($150 non-refundable fee). A gas grill is available on-site for guest usage in an area near the villas.

The townhome was very comfortable and in a private location. We enjoyed our stay very much. The dryer needs a new belt. It squeaked alot when it was drying. Other than that, there were no real issues. It would have been nice to have steak knives and a few more utencils. But the overall experience was nice. The bedrooms were very nice and had comfortable beds.
We didn't realize that it was not a short walk to the beach. Although you have access to a paved path, the walk is very long. It would be best traveled with a bike. We chose to drive after walking the first day. |

We spent the week at Shipyard 191 Colonnade from August 17th-22nd and
loved everything. The condo is a mere six minute walk to beach and the
surroundings are mind blowing. Being from Chicago with no idea what to
expect as it was our first time there, we were blown away by how beautiful
Shipyard was. The private pool was clean and quiet. The homes are so nice
to view as you bike around.
Colonnade 191 has a great view of the course as it backs up to it and it's on
the first level which makes it easy to get out of your car and step right in.
Overall, we really enjoyed the condo and the service provided by the staff at
Hilton Head Vacation Rentals & Coastal Home and Villa Rentals in Hilton
Head Island.
Our contact was Jean and she provided us with so many great tips and ideas
for places to go. Will re-book for next summer!

Hilton head island is a treasure island. It is a
great location for vacationing. The beaches are fantastic, so are the golf courses. The accomodations were fine as well. Overall, it was very enjoyable. We will definitely go back there. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation home. The check in and out process was quick and easy. The Colonnade villa was spotless and the location in Shipyard was ideal.
One of the best features for us was that the unit was on the ground floor and more importantly, it was pet friendly. This allowed us to bring our dog, who loves the beach.
If we choose to return to Hilton Head next year we woild definitely want to rent the same unit or in the same complex. |

| The villa at Colonnade Club 191 was very attractive and comfortable. My family and I had a wonderful time. There were only 2 points that were less than desireable. First, the ad said the walk to the beach was only 5-10 minutes long but it was longer more like 15-17 minutes and it said that the villa could sleep 6 comfortably. However the couch bed was very uncomfortable and could not really fit two adults. Luckily, there is only 5 in my family but the kids took turns on the couch bed because it was so uncomfortable. Otherwise it was a lovely trip and a beautiful villa. I would definitely return. |

Diana, thanks so much for your review. I'm pleased to hear that you had a wonderful stay in this villa. It is attractive and comfortable. I'm not exactly sure to which ad you refer when you say it says 5 - 10 minutes, possbily the VRBO listing written by the owner. Our website description says the villa is a "short walk" to the beach. From past experience most guests can walk from this villa to the beach in 10 minutes. Most 2 bedroom villas that sleep 6 utilize a queen sleeper sofa which can accomodate 2 persons. I won't debate the comfort issue here but most children can sleep on sofa beds. We will examine this sofa bed mattress to determine if it warrants replacement.

Stayed in this property over Memorial Day. Nice unit recently updated with paint carpet, but could use overhaul to bathrooms & kitchen. Pets are OK, which was great as we traveled with small dog. Fun to walk to beach (8-10 AM only) with the dog. The walk to the beach is +/- 10 minutes, if carrying lots of gear you want to drive. Parking pass provided to Shipyard Beach Club.
Pool was nice too. |

| We liked Shipyard and Colonnade Club. Our family really enjoyed this nice two bedroom two bath. Only a couple of issues came up. Could not get the high speed internet working as the router seems to be encrypted and no pass code was available. Coastal rental could not help rectify this issue. The shower in the Master Bath would get only slightly warm. The location is great and we would stay at this condo again in the future. |

Jack, thank you so much for your review. Many of our guests share your love of Shipyard Plantation. We're sorry that you had a problem with the high speed internet. Since we are not IT professionals, we rely on Hargray to solve internet connection issues. We have added a technical support sticker to the modem to allow easier access to help. We have sent a plumber to investigate the master bath water temperature.
