This home is all “About Fun”! The large, level lawn leads to the back porch, which features a comfortable shady spot to sit and relax. Enter into the open kitchen and dining area. Plenty of seating is available in the dining room. The large, country table will seat ten people, and four more can sit at the breakfast bar nearby. The kitchen features everything a gourmet cook could want, plenty of counter space, dishwasher, and open views of the lake, living room, dining room, and family room. That way, even if it’s your night to do dishes, you won’t be left out of anything.To the right of the dining room is the comfortable family room with skylights. This area offers plenty of comfortable leather furniture, a gas fireplace, television and stereo system, and large window with seating that overlooks the lake.Just a couple of steps down from the dining room and kitchen is the lake view living room. Stylish new furniture, a second gas fireplace, large flat screened television, and French doors to the lake make this the perfect place to entertain friends and family. Another great feature of this room is the game corner. This area offers wall shelves stocked with games and dvds and a game table with seating for six.Located to the left of the kitchen is a half bathroom, a second entry door to the back porch, and the stairway leading to the air conditioned second floor.The first bedroom at the top of the stairs is the “Arts and Crafts Room”. This room features a view of the back yard and a queen size bed with a warm, earth-tone quilt. The next bedroom is the “Merlot Room”, which features a queen size bed with black and white toile quilt, television with dvd player, and window with view of the back yard. The next bedroom is the “Bunk Room”. This space offers a double/single bunk bed with built in shelving, cupboards, and a cedar drawer, lovely yellow and blue quilts, and the alarm clock includes an MP3 player. The last bedroom on this floor is the “Master Bedroom”. A king size bed with fresh yellow and blue quilt, HDTV, dvd player, leather arm chairs overlooking the lake, air conditioner, glass sliding doors to the balcony, and an attached full bathroom with shower stall and stackable washer and dryer offer everything you’ll need to hide away from the rest of the world.A newly-built, detached apartment over the garage provides a quiet place for your company. This well designed space offers a fully stocked kitchen with dining room seating for four, a full bathroom with skylight and shower, a combined bedroom and living area with double bed, queen size pullout couch, 26 inch, flat screen television and stereo system. Two additional skylights in this area offer views of the lake, and a bowed window offers even more natural light to pour in. Air conditioning keeps this apartment comfortable, but a ceiling fan in the bedroom adds extra air movement if needed. A stackable washer and dryer make this apartment complete.The outdoors of this wonderful vacation getaway offers plenty of fun. A hot tub, outdoor shower, 50 foot dock, two-person hammock, propane grill and lakeside firepit are just some of the features of “About Fun”. Teak tables, benches, and chairs, as well as separate bistro set with umbrella offer plenty of places to relax and dine in style.Just one mile south is the Conesus Lake Wildlife Management Area, which offers plenty of bird and wildlife watching. A pair of bald eagles has been spotted nesting here, so be sure to bring your binoculars! Geneseo is just a short, 7 mile drive up Maple Beach Road. Here you will find plenty of places to dine, shop, and entertain the kids. Miniature golf, batting cages, movie theaters and more can be found here. Be sure to stop by the Visitor Center for more information on the area. Letchworth State Park is just a short, scenic drive away. Work up a good appetite on your vacation, as you have your choice of fine dining and casual restaurants around Conesus Lake.The 30 minute drive from Rochester makes Conesus Lake extremely appealing to all. You can drive the family and friends up to see a professional baseball or soccer game right in downtown Rochester. Plenty of museums, festivals, concerts, and every type of shop and restaurant can be found here. Be sure to check the local event calendars to find out what bands are playing in town, especially at the “Garden Vibes” concert series located on the lawn of the George Eastman House. If the kids are looking for a little more excitement, Seabreeze Amusement Park, Seneca Park Zoo, and Strong Museum of Play are also located in Rochester.Year-round fun can be found at “About Fun”, so don’t forget to keep it in mind for Spring, Fall, and Winter vacations as well!
