Vacation Rental Description
This hand-hewn log cabin has it all: cozy, warm, and inviting with all the conveniences of home. The cabin is nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains on a 5000-acre private resort. The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a trout-fishing pond, trout-fishing streams (bring your own fishing gear for both), tennis, basketball, walking trails, and biking trails. The Appalachian Trail goes through the resort, and borders the Pisgah National Forest. Snow skiing, golf, horseback riding, pavilion, and much more are available. These amenities vary based on the season and weather. Four-wheel drive is recommended during inclement weather. Hiking on Site: The Appalachian Trail goes right through the Wolf Laurel Resort just minutes from the Wolf Laurel Cabin. Also just minutes away you can hike up to the Big Bald Mtn. (also inside the resort) for the most spectacular views in Western North Carolina.

| Unfortunate power outage at arrival required one night in motel. Owner very apologetic and helpful. She bought dinner for four. The construction next door that caused the power outage continued to be a nuisance with trucks parked making it difficult to access our driveway. Upon check out the realty company wanted to play games with the refund for the night we could not stay. It took argument and several hours for them to finally agree to the simple solution of reunding 1/3 of our three-night rental. Their original amount proposed for the refund was nearly $40 short of 1/3. This really irritated me!They finally agreed to 1/3 but left a very unnecessary dissatisfied customer. |

This cabin was perfect for our family. We have 2 young children and
this cabin met their needs and curiosities as well. Our parents also felt
comfortable and content within the serene setting. My husband and
would reccomend this property to anyone who wants to "get away"
but, not sacrifice modern covienences. Certainly a tradition has
begun in our family; fall getaway is Wolf Laurel Cabin. |

What a pleasant surprise when we entered the cabin. Clean, neat with all the amenities of home - but better. Gated community, quiet, jacuzzi, grill, everything I wanted and more than I expected.
I will definitely be back !! Thanks for offering such a wonderful getaway - great value for the price !!

We had a family get-together up at this cabin and found it to be perfect. There were two couples, a child, and we were even able to bring our dog.
We all enjoyed soaking in the hot tub, playing board games around the table, and we made good use of the communities tennis and basketball courts. We found the cabin to be warm and inviting and look forward to returning.
The free wireless internet was also a very nice touch.

| The cabin and the resort was all that we expected and more. The cabin provided a warm setting for a multigenerational vacation. The amenities for the resort were actually even nicer than they appeared on the website. The location is lovely and peaceful and would be absolutely gorgeous in the Fall. |
