This was a perfect cabin for a short weekend away. The cabin, itself, is incredible with perfect craftmanship and decor. We brought our two toddler girls and the layout of the house was perfect for that, but we'd also love to come back just the two of us. One of the best parts was the one-mile hiking trail. All in all, we had a great trip and will be sure to return.

We spent a wonderful week in the Lone Pine Lodge cabin. First off, the owners thought of everything and the cabin was very clean. The 180 degree mountain view was the best ever! It was so calming to sit on the outdoor or sceened porch and watch the humming birds, birds in general and the cows in the distance. We were de-stressed within a hour. If you want to sit back and relax and yet be 20 min. from Asheville this is the place to do it! We loved it.

Gorgeous and spectacular. The cabin was perfect for me and my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary in. The people were fantastic and very helpful. The views were spectacular in the mornings from the porch while we sipped our coffee. We plan to return this year.

I asked my girlfriend if she would like to stay in the mountains near Asheville and to give me some suggestions. Out of the many, Pine Lodge was the most appealing to both of us based on the photographs we reviewed. I still don't think they quite do it justice. It is offset far enough from the rest of society but close enough that we could do things downtown see friends and then be out of it all and in a nice quiet serene environment. The cabin is just beautiful. The property owners live within view, and we never got to meet them but looking at their pictures of building the cabin they seemed like our kind of people. The amount of detail put into the cabin shows pure love and devotion, as well as pride and satisfaction. I would say if you are bringing another couple the doors upstairs are about 3/4 of an inch thick so noise does get around, so if you are planning on romance then be warned (better as just a couple imo) but still worth sharing the experience with others. There is an awesome lookout not far from the cabin with a view of a waterfall and the trail that winds up to the top of the mountain behind the property is worth hiking for the view. All I can say is that it was very memorable for the both of us!!!
Thank you so much for your hard work! |

After we arrived we talked about where we wanted to go and what we would like to do, well so much for plans, we spent the next two days relaxing at the cabin. Our stay was so relaxing we did not want to leave. If I though we could buy the cabin, well lets just say I would be sitting on the porch writting this. It is the most relaxed I have been n years. The cabin is very clean and well taken care of. The owners are exceptional people, thank you for are perfect getaway.
