Avalon Chalet - Needs Work |

| We've rented multiple houses in the Asheville area over the past six months and since we were planning a holiday visit we thought we would "upgrade" and stay at a nicer location. After close examination we chose Avalon Chalet. The house itself looked great and it was in an excellent location however after arriving we discovered the floors were not clean, a towel in the bathroom had women's makeup on it (and were of poor quality), multiple light bulbs were not working and dishes in the cabinets had dried food on them. Housekeeping at this location is definitely NOT doing their job. This location was the most expensive of the ones we have stayed at in the area but the quality of furnishing (furniture, dishes, kitchen appliances, towel, etc) were far below what we had experienced at other rentals. We will definitely think twice before using Carolina Mornings for our next rental. |

Our son was getting married at the Biltmore Inn in Asheville and we needed a place to stay for most of the week of the wedding that could accomodate our family. The Avalon was perfect.
The only thing that would have worked better for us was a larger gill...whether it be charcoal or gas for our crowd. |

| We had a great multi-generation family vacation in this lovely house. Our favorite part of the house was the deck, where we spent much time, enjoying the view of the woods and the mountain air. But it was also wonderful to have a full kitchen, laundry facilities, and a peaceful, safe neighborhood. Our 5 year-old granddaughter loved visiting the horses down the road! |

We had an amazing girls weekend and found the avalon chalet very
clean, accommodating, and comfortable. We wanted to be close
enough to downtown Asheville, but stay out in the country and this
afforded us just that. We had a great time and have even talked about
making this an annual get away destination and of course staying at
the avalon chalet! |

| Everything was great. We enjoyed the back deck the most. I do think you should warn people about the horrific driveway. You need to find a way to make it better. Not everyone is accustomed to driving in the mountains and dealing with these types of driveways. |
