Charming Little Cabin |

This cabin is just the right size for two people. It is very cute with a rustic feel, and offers modern amenities such as a stove, microwave, dishwasher, TV, etc.
While the cabin was comfortable, there were a few issues we encountered. The linens on the bed (and in the closet) were very musty smelling and definitely should have been washed again prior to our arrival. I assume this happens because it is not occupied year round, but one thing I require is a clean (and clean smelling) bed! The laundry detergent had a note on it saying it was only for the towels upon departure, so if we wanted to wash the linens, it was up to us to buy our own detergent.
The front porch was wonderful with its rocking chairs and hot tub, but the chairs were in desparate need of being washed down, and the solution you're supposed to put in the hot tub after using it was nowhere to be found. Also, the charcoal "grill" left little to be desired.
However, having said these things, the cabin overall was charming and comfortable. We mainly used it for sleeping and bathing in between our myriad of sightseeing adventures, but it also would have been just fine had we decided to stay in more. The scenery was breathtaking and there's nothing like the smell of that crisp mountain air.
If you want to have a nice place to stay but not spend a complete fortune, then this is the place for you! We have fond memories of "our" little cabin and would definitely stay there again. |

I actually stayed there the entire month of August while working in the area. The cabin is clean and orderly and as advertised. The view from the portch is great and it is a very peaceful location. All of the appliances worked great as did the other advertised ammenitites.
I enjoyed the stay and recommend this cabin. |

A wonderful getaway for me and my wife. Great chance to escape every day
life and enjoy this wonderful mountain cabin! We spent a lot of time just
sitting in the outdoor hot tub and discussing life and the future. It was also
close to downtown, so we did get all dressed up and went out one night.
Overall, an excellent experience! |

| Carolina Staff were courteous, helpful and most importantly, accessible. When we checked in we had some questions and we were always able to reach a human being at Carolina mornings. The cabin was clean, the hot tub was well-maintained, it was private, and everything was functional. The mattress needs to be replaced due to creaking and squeaking. Will probably stay in a different cabin next time because there was no bathroom upstairs in the loft where the bedroom is located. Otherwise, the cabin and location were exactly as described and we had a wonderful time. |

We had the pleasure of staying in a very cozy log cabin. (This has been a dream of ours for many years). We currently reside in New Jersey and are scouting out retirement relocation areas, so we were able to explore all the nearby cities. We found that staying at this house suited our needs for our exploring it was convenient to many amenities. We were able to make use of the wonderful fireplace and did manage to play and take a Segway tour in downtown Asheville, this was a thrill and highly recommended. The services provided by Carolina Mornings was everything you could ask for, they handled all our questions and requests with utmost professionalism and also followed up later on. I would not hesitate returning to a Carolina Mornings rental.

| My partner and I came to this cabin to celebrate a birthday. We both enjoyed everything about the cabin! The convenience to Asheville is exactly what I was hoping for with the seclusion that we both needed to rejuvenate our spirits! Hope to be able to return with our two children for a weekend sometime this summer! Thanks Alot :) |

We had a great time during our stay! The cabin was perfect!! It was very clean and updated, and definitely the best we've ever stayed in! We particularly loved the fireplace and hot tub! The kitchen had everything we needed and made our stay very convenient.
The only problem we had was with the noise that was generated from the AC unit outside. The first night we stayed it kind of kept us up at night because it was surrounded by leaves, which threw it off balance and made a very loud rattling noise. We swept the leaves away on the second day and it was back to silence. So I would just recommend that it's swept during regular housekeeping.
Overall, we had a perfect trip and would definitely return!
P.S. Carolina Mornings was the best rental company we've ever used! There were very honest with their descriptions and extremely easy to work with, which makes the trip 100x's better!
Thank you,
Roger and Lauren

We are also very grateful for the praise of our Carolina Mornings team. Thank you as well for alerting us to the problem with leaves around the AC unit. Your helpful comments were passed onto our Property Management Team and they will be certain to keep the A/C unit leaf-free.

| My husband and I were celebrating our 8 year anniversary, but we had never had a honeymoon. With two little kids at home we wanted to getaway from everyone. This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. We also used the restaurant brochure to find a nice place to go eat, since we never do that at home. We loved having wine or hot chocolate out in the hot tub at night and breakfast with coffee by the fire place in the morning. We will definately use this place again next year! Thank you so much for making it easy to rent, find and stay! |

| My husband and I thought this cabin was PERFECT for people like us... a couple looking for a nice, relaxing, reality break, yet WITH the dog. The cabin was very roomy, had "real stairs" going up to the bedroom loft (the dog particularly liked peeking through the rails from the loft to look downstairs), and it was clean and cozy. Loved the hot tub. There was plenty of room to run around with the dog without having to worry about traffic or anything else. It was very peaceful and we felt as though we were in the middle of nowhere, yet it was a very short drive to Asheville. I'm sure we'll be back! |

| My wife and I stayed at this cabin for about a week. Its location in Candler is ideal for having plenty of activities nearby. The cabin was clean and well maintained. The furnishings in the cabin were average, nothing exceptional. The only real gripe we had is for some reason they did not have any basic household goods at the cabin ie toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasing liquid... |

Also, thank you SO MUCH for being dog friendly! Our Lab had a great time lounging around the house and hiking the nearby trails. |

| This is a very nice, well equipped cabin; however, it was a disappointment that the hot tub was not working during our stay. We felt a portion of the rental rate was based on this amenity and it was unfortunately not available. Besides that, everything was great. It is a peaceful place with nice views and a comfortable appeal. |
