Built in 2003, the cabin is stylishly furnished in a rustic motif that includes a great room with two full size sofas, fully equipped kitchen and ample dining area and three spacious decks. A grill and a fire pit are located in the cabin yard for the perfect place to socialize and roast marshmallows in the evenings. Inside, play games with the kids or snuggle up with a good book in front of the gas fireplace. Conveniently located between Asheville and Chimney Rock/Lake Lure, providing plenty of nearby opportunities to hike, lake swim, creek stomp, bird watch or just plan ole relax. As you head toward Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway is easily accessed and provides a beautiful ride north to Mount Mitchell or south Pisgah National Park. Everything this area has to offer is within a short trip away. This log cabin offers memorable vacation opportunities and ideal accommodations for both families and couples. Four Wheel Drive recommended during winter season. Hiking on Site: Hiking trails are in the immediate area that includes a new Conservation area with well marked but little known mountain trails.

I had rented the cabin to relax with family from England
after my son's wedding. I know that renting unseen can
sometimes turn out to be a mistake but not this time. The
home is clean, comfortable, has a lovely view and is plenty
big enough for four to six people. We had wanted to be
close to Asheville and to Hendersonville and so this location
turned out to be perfect. We were also pleased to be so
close to Chimney Rock for hiking and also Lake Lure. We
would not hesitate to rent this home again, we had a
wonderful time. |

We thought this property was both a well kept cabin and a beautiful view. Although you are near other cabins, the location and cabin outweigh other cabins being close. You are on the top of the mountain and the view was wonderful.
The cabin is almost like new and the accommodations are wonderful. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen is well stocked, and the right to have your pet with you makes this an ideal home.
We would highly recommend this to any family or group of people. |

| We spent a wonderful four day weekend at McGuffey's Ridge ! The cabin is beautifully decorated and the view from the back porch is incredible. It was a weekend of relaxation and pure enjoyment. We definitely plan to visit again. |
