Great Weekend Getaway |

| This house was fantastic for a weekend getaway. It is about 20 minutes from downtown Asheville with a delightful view. The rooms upstairs, kitchen, and porch areas are ideal for a short stay. The basement wasn't fully finished (meaning no carpet or formal flooring); however, the pool table is in great condition and makes up for the asthetic apeal. |

Could have been great |

| While the house was located in a beautiful spot just outside of Asheville, it had some serious issues. First, it was not very clean, lots of dust bunnies around, the furniture was worn with stains, etc. The linens on the bed were torn and mismatched, and the towels we were provided had hairballs matted in them from prior washings. The hot tub, and this was the biggest disappointment, smelled so strongly of bleach that we couldn't get in. Just lifting the cover was enough to knock you out. It could be an awesome little rental house with just a few improvements. Very reasonable price, but perhaps only worth it if some updates are made to the property. |

Great Place, Great Experience! |

| This cabin was so cute. It was way roomier than what we expected it to be. The pool table in the basement was a lot of fun. It was really nice to have the washer/dryer also. The kitchen came equipped with everything we needed to cook the food we bought and there were towels there also. One of the bedrooms was slightly larger than the other. It also had a sleeper sofa. We slept 4 comfortably, but it could sleep 3 couples. The hot tub was great too and it had these really neat colorful disco lights in it. Our only was wish was that the water would've been drained and refilled before we arrived (it was a little funky). But overall a great stay! Worth the money. We got to BBQ, hot tub, play pool, and enjoy the mountain view from the wrap around deck. It was about a ten minute drive to downtown Asheville, and the blue ridge parkway, lots of hiking. But the village of Candler had everything you could need right there also (grocery stores, fast food, liquor stores, pizza) I would definitely stay there again. |

Close to Ashville, but isolated in the country! |

| The house itself was nice. Just as described...2 bedrooms, one bathroom, full kitchen, laundry, and porch. The description I had read stated "finished basement" which it was not. It was not bad down there, but it was not finished. We did enjoy the pool table though. Biggest problem we had was the hot tub. It was not clean and had a three inch thick, film around the top. Needless to say this was not an aspect of the cabin we got to enjoy. All in all, we liked the isolation of the cabin with only a 15 minute drive to the city. I wish we could have utilized the hot tub (an aspect I picked the cabin for). |
