Guest Reviews for Chestnut Cabin

Wonderful cabin in the woods
We had a most lovely time at chestnut cabin, the
place is awesome, the gas fire and blower will heat
the place up in 20 minutes flat, the entire place!
The Pisgah forest and woods are great for exploring
and the drive out is devine,
thank you Carolina mornings,

Restful and relaxing
Out of the way and secluded... Just what we were looking for... The cabin was quaint and charming... I was particularly fond of the screened in porch and the rocking chairs. It made for a very relaxing and restful visit. Both my husband and I agreed that if we could take it back home to Illinois we would in a heartbeat. We have told family and friends alike that it was one of the best vacations we have had. Would definetly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle . More...

GREAT!
Stayed here mid August. Cabin was just as advertised. Well stocked, plenty of supplies and towels, and a neat place to spend a few days. Would like to come back in winter and enjoy some snow. We did get to enjoy an afternoon of listening to rain on a tin roof.Wonder if owner would like to sell so I can move this down my way.
Rental procedure was easy and online inf great. I did have a bit of an issue with an office worker when I called to inquire about some items, but all in all things were OK.
Look forward to coming again and would recommend to others. More...

Pleasantly surprised!
This rental is what you think when you think "cabin". Very cute and
rustic but bigger than it looks. It has a wonderful screened in front
porch and outside eating area by the grill. Too bad it got warm
enough to use it on our second to last night on vacation-otherwise
we would have been out there every night. It was great staying at
the cabin versus a hotel because we have a 3 year old and she was
able to play outside every day.
The double bed in the master was very comfortable. The only thing
that differed from the website was the fact that it stated a double
and 2 twins upstairs but it only had 2 twins up and a new pull out
sofa in the living room. But I think that was very recently changed
and they didn't have a chance to change it on the website before
our visit. It still worked out fine for us.
It is a beautiful and quiet location and we really enjoyed our stay. More...
