Vacation Rental Description
This new Tennessee Log Cabin sits upon Burney Mountain. Enjoy the winter views from the comfort of your sofa or the rocking chairs on the porch. The lush tree canopies offer privacy during the summer months. After discovering the local wildlife on the nearby walking trails, unwind in the 2 person garden tub. Although Biltmore is only 14 miles from Red Wolf, the drive is about 25 minutes, due to the well-maintained mountain road. It is only 4 miles to the top of the mountain but it is a 10 minute drive from the main road. No need for a SUV, except during inclement weather. Military Special: Enjoy up to $50 savings in pet fees with your stay at Red Wolf! This special is also available for parents of active service women and men.

So Close But So Far Away |

We loved the home, but we had chosen it for its proximity to
Asheville, where we wanted to tour Biltmore and see the sights.
It looked close on the map but the cabin was far up a winding
dirt road. Dusty in August. I recommend this cabin ONLY if
you want a beautiful location and are not much interested in
coming and going frequently. |

10 Year Anniversary At Red Wolf |

My husband and I spent our 10 year anniversary at this wonderful cabin. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the pool table, and hot tub. I can not say enough nice things about this little slice of paradise - it was so hard to leave. It's just a short distance from restaurants, and activities (like the Biltmore House, and the Blue Ridge Parkway). We loved the peaceful mornings and evenings on the deck, and sharing our left overs with the neighborhood "red dog".
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home, we will definitely be back. |

| hot tub was broken the entire weekend and the cabin is very difficult to get to and from. The 15 minute ride on the very windy dirt road leading to and from the property makes it very difficult to venture out for dinner and activities. The cabin is nice and would be OK if you plan on staying put for a few days. make sure the hot tub works before you go |
