Vacation Rental Description
A private paved road brings you up to the front steps of Blue Sky Vista, nestled on a mountainside amid 5 acres of forest and mountain laurels. It's private, but not in the boonies. Enjoy panoramic mountain views, including Mt. Pisgah, from the living room and expansive deck. You may see a magnificent sunset or enjoy the beauty of the early-morning clouds and mountain mist. The spacious post and beam house includes a large loft area, and there are bedrooms and a bathroom on all three levels. Cedar walls, exposed beams, and rustic Mexican tile bring a cozy-cabin atmosphere to the open living space, which has lots of windows and skylights. The eat-in kitchen is big and inviting and features a central island. The furnishings are casual and comfortable, and it's easy to find a private spot for reading and relaxing. Outside, the deck offers plenty of space for entertaining, the yard's a great place for the kids to play, and a walking trail circles up the mountain to a bench from which you can enjoy a high-perch view. Blue Sky Vista is easy-access to all Asheville area attractions. It's 7 miles to I-40 and the Blue Ridge Parkway, 10 miles to the Asheville Mall, 12 to downtown Asheville and to the Biltmore Mansion. Twelve scenic miles in the other direction take you to Bat Cave, Chimney Rock, and Lake Lure. Blue Sky Vista is in a convenient location, is secluded and quiet, and is view-terrific in every season. **Please note that there is a steep driveway to access the property due to the high elevation.

| We had a large group coming to Asheville for a wedding. This was the perfect place to call our "homebase." The view is amazing, the house is outstanding. The beds were quite nice, the kitchen is huge and well-stocked with pots and pans, etc. It was a very nice touch to have the welcome package. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone. Just to note, the driveway is quite steep...so be prepared. Wonderful stay though. Thanks! |

| Last month, a group of friends and I got together and stayed at the Blue Skye Vista rental home in Fairview, NC. We had a great time! The home was spacious and beautiful, the views were amazing, and the location was easy to find. After the weekend, we all plan to make the trip a yearly event! I would highly recommend this rental property to any group or large family. It was great for relaxing and enjoying the company of friends! |

The staff was helpful from the beginning, and we found the place just as beaufitul as it was described and pictured! We really appreciated the ease with which the whole weekend was coordinated, from being able to book over the phone, to receiving the info well in advance of our weekend, to getting the house keys exactly where you said they'd be, to having a surplus of towels, space, and other amenities. It was an exceptional spot for hosting a special weekend for my sister-in-law and a number of her closest friends, and all of the feedback from the group was exceptional. They felt WELL taken care of!

the cabin was pretty awesome. we had a group of 7 and we
had room to spare. the property was incredibly well stocked,
far beyond my expectations really. lots of towels, the kitchen
was awesome (yes, we cooked a couple of times even while
on vacation), everything was very clean. highly recommend
this place to stay if. . .
the only issue we had, the very steep driveway. we had a
couple of things going against us i suppose. we arrived late,
around 11:30 pm, it had been raining all day (literally), so the
driveway was wet. with 4 guys and a bunch of luggage in a
honda accord, we didnt make it up the steep driveway on the
first try. we had to unload all of our luggage, back down the
driveway (luckily we had brought along a flashlight), and try
again in first gear.
except for that little experience, the rest of the stay was
great.
to the property managers, please consider providing at least
a warning on your website about the steep driveway. it will
help your guests at least prepare for it. |

| This villa, nestled way atop its surroundings, was everything that we hoped it would be. We arrived, weary travelers, and we were welcomed with fresh cut flowers and two bottles of wine! What a way to start our vacation! The home was completely stocked with just about everything we needed, and we really felt as if we were in our own home. The view was spectacular, and although it was very private and felt isolated, it was just a short driving distance to Asheville and many other attractions. The hot tub and indoor sauna, and the library, were added bonuses. The beds were so comfortable, and sipping coffee on the deck with the morning sun was spectacular! We would love to be able to visit Blue Sky Vista again, and highly recommend it for any occasion! |

Our week in North Carolina was amazing! Blue Sky Vista is a beautiful property with ample room for our entire family. We loved the mountain view, the gorgeous sunsets, and above all, the opportunity to spend an entire week together under one roof. The house surpassed our expectations with room enough for everyone to spread out and relax. We loved cooking and preparing meals together in the spacious kitchen and playing games late into the night at the dining table.
This home offers lovely furnishings and is very well stocked. We highly recommend this property to anyone who loves the beauty of the mountains while still being close enough to Asheville to enjoy all the charms the city has to offer. We'll be back! |

| The house was perfect for our multi-family yearly get together! Thereus as enough space that none of us got on each others nerves-and we all know how family can be! There was even room for our two surprise guests-The dogs!!! The house had everything needed to feel like the comforts of home, plus the incredible mountain views!!This is a must stay. |

This house has been beautifully maintained, inside and out. It was clean
and spacious. Great kitchen and library for hanging out. Kitchen is well
stocked with appliances, utensils and coffee. Internet connection, cable
television included. Complimentary wine was provided and hosts were
totally available to address any questions and concerns we had during
our stay. The location is very convenient and the view is spectacular.
More than enough towels and linens to go around. we had 11 people. The
driveway is VERY steep, so during the winter, you need to be a bit
careful with that. Would highly highly recommend.

| I rented the house for a reunion with some college friends. We had a great time. The house is not only nice with great views, but the extra touches that they supplied was wonderful. They had supplies for anything if you forgot something and that was great b/c we were unfamiliar with the area and we didn't have to run out to the store. It is a very clean house with a big kitchen where we hung out most of the time. I highly recommend this house to anyone and if we go back to Asheville for another reunion, then I will definately stay there again!! |
