The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable.
The hot tub is great as is the game room. Many
hours were enjoyed in the hot tub and just a great
way to relax. Our golden retrievers also had a
great time exploring the mountainside. Would
definitely recommend this house and would rent
again myself. |

The Perfect Holiday Getaway |

We were looking for a rental cabin in the mountains within driving
distance for a family Christmas gathering. We wanted to be near ski
lifts, mountain biking and hiking, and we wanted to have a game room
so we could play pool. This cabin exceeded our expectations. It was
much larger than we thought, and the game room included fooseball
and a dart board in addition to the pool table. It was secluded
enough, not right in town in Asheville, but easy driving distance to the
city and its attractions. The grown kids skied, biked, and we all hiked
and visited the Biltmore decorated for Christmas. We watched DVD's,
put together 2 large picture puzzles, cooked all our meals in the fully
appointed kitchen, and relaxed. We would highly recommend this
rental. |

Mountain Getaway |

My family and I had a great stay at Old Mountain Cabin. We were
seven and we had plenty of room. The game room was a great asset to
our stay. We played pool and table soccer. It was great! The jacuzzi
and outdoor gas grill were added benefits that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Coming from Florida we truly enjoyed all the beautiful mountain views.
Hendersonville was very close and downtown Asheville was only 30
minutes away. We also visited nearby Mount Mitchell State Park.
But it was great coming back to the cabin after a long day and relaxing
in the jacuzzi or playing pool in the game room.
We only had a small problem with the refrigerator which was promptly
taken care of by the owner. But I would definitely recommend staying
at the Old Mountain Cabin. |

| This was our 1st time renting a cabin in NC and we are so glad that we found Carolina Mornings. They had so many places to choose from with so many options. The cabin we got called Old Mountain Cabin, had a Hot Tub, a pool table, a foosball table and a dart board and we were able to bring our dog. We could not have been happier with the cabin. It was spotless and the kitchen was very large and usefull. Our family consist of 3 teenagers, 19,18 and 17 and they loved it. We would, without a doubt, stay here again. |

| I found Carolina Mornings through a websearch for Asheville cabin rentals. I was pleased to see the quantity of cabins available and decided to book Old Mountain. This place is awesome. This cabin is just perfect. It sits on the edge of a nice hill, the road is easy to navigate, the beds are comfortable. Many log cabins come off as contrived, this one is genuine. There isn't any extra nonsense added, trying to make you feel like you are in the mountains. All you have to do is go out on the deck to know you are in the mountains. We spent 3 nights here and were sorry to have to leave. I will come back and have already recommended it to friends that are planning vacations in the area. |

| Old Mountain Cabin was just a wonderful place. The cabin is in a very remote and secluded area sitting on the side of a mountain. Yet close enough to all of the wonderful activities of the local towns and rivers. We truly enjoyed this cabin. The master suite was wonderful with a private bath. Plenty of room for a family vacation, very spacious living and kitchen area. We loved the gameroom it kept everyone entertained after a day in the mountains, and the jacuzzi with a wonderful view of the full moon on a quiet night was just amazing. Thank you for the wonderful stay, we will return. |

| Had a nice time here. Loved the deck and hot tub and everything was new. There were some little things, like the CD stereo changer had a problem, the pool table is too close to the walls, and there is not TV/stereo in the game room. Also, the bedroom in loft was hard to keep cool, even though it was pretty hot when we were there. All in all, a nice place would recommend it. Also had easy access. |

| This was a great spot to relax and have fun together. Brought our married daughter and husband along with our younger daughter and fiancee' there along with us (celebrating 30 years marriage this year). Everyone played pool, table hockey, or soaked in the hot tub. The cabin is lodge style and very scenic. Easy trip to many area attractions and using a GPS got us through some beautiful countryside and scenic shortcuts. |

The cabin was very nice and had everything you would need in it. We had a pool table, hot tub, dart board and BBQ so after a long day out we were able to spend great relaxing nights in. They also had the kitchen well stocked with utensils, Tupperware, pots and pans, which made BBQing and cooking very easy. The location was great. We weren't far from Lake Lure and Chimney Rock as well as a few other places such as downtown Hendersonville, which made for great day
trips. The only real problem we had was that the cabin didn't seem to be maintained well. There were several light bulbs that needed to be changed and when we were showering we discovered a leak coming from the upstairs bathroom to the bedroom on the middle floor. When we told the owners about it, they just said put a towel down. We opted
not to use that shower for the remainder of our stay because we worried the leak could get worse and possible get the bed wet or ruin
the belongings of the people using the middle floor bedroom. Our only other real complaint was the cement floor in the downstairs bedroom. It made the room very cold and uncomfortable to walk around in. We
laid several towels on the floors in the bathroom so that we could get dressed. It would be nice of that room was carpeted. It would be much nicer and more comfortable to stay in. |

| Old Mountain Cabin is a fabulous haven. The amenities (pool table, hot tub, and well equipped kitchen) added great pleasures to using this vacation home. Because it is in a heavily wooded area, the view can be obstructed until the leaves have fallen quite a bit (but the description warns you about that). Would stay here again! |
